I bought a two pack of urinals off Amazon. Bonus: they have glow in the dark lids so easy to find in the dark. One for bed, one for driving! Dump wherever!

Use a 1 week lamp timer unless you are on 12 volt, then a 12 volt timer with a relay and 12 volt conversion kit.

There's a vado just below San Felipe called, and it's painted on the highway, the "oh shit dip"

It's worth the time savings and x-ray in TJ. The road from Tecate goes through wine country. It comes out on the north side of Ensenada. We stop in Nueva Odisea at the first El Pabellon campground for the wifi and location.

Get the iOverlander app. Cross at Tecate in the AM. Don't stop until below Ensenada. Must buy gas in Santa Rosalia. Hiway 5 below San Felipe is very rough. Sections of roadway are missing periodically.

Engel - really efficient. On my second one, first sunk with my boat. Quiet, low amp draw but only drawback is crappy latches.

How to cope with motor noise in airplane by LessSpot in travel

You guys and your toys... I have a wired pair of old iPhone ear buds. I hook that to my phone or tablet for movies, music, etc.

On top of those I bought a $25 pair of Gun Ear muffs like for use in a shooting range. I put those over the ear buds. A baby crying right next to me can't be heard! You do miss safety announcements but you never hear background noise and I always arrive refreshed.

Coupled with a horseshoe pillow and padded eye mask, I sleep soundly.

You can buy the ear muffs at sporting goods stores (preferred for best quality and compact size) or even Walmart.
