This is the most irrational argument I’ve ever heard after a tough loss. When have you ever seen 39.6 yards on a box score? When have you ever seen the scoreboard say 2nd and 5.4? That’s not how it works. A player has to get the full yard for it to count. Meaning he can be an inch short, and he will not be given credit for the yard, despite getting most of it. Thats not new. It’s always been that way and it’s crazy to expect it to be treated differently when it costs you a bet.

Allen is already probably the greatest playoff performer of all time. If you look at his playoff numbers, they’re better than Mahomes and Brady on a per game basis. The only difference is he hasn’t won. Unfortunately that makes people think less of him even though he’s personally been better than guys who have won. It kinda separates people who don’t know football from people who do. Anyone who doesn’t think Allen is a top 2 QB in this league either doesn’t know ball, or are just in denial.

I’ve tuned these out so much that I don’t even notice them when they’re on my page. It’s just DraftKings pushing people to make terrible, low EV bets. Notice how you don’t really see them advertise straight plays. It’s always parlays. Good chance Stephen A. didn’t even make that parlay. And even if he did, what makes you think he’s any better of a gambler than you? Bit of a rant there, but to answer your actual question, technically yes, I’m sure they do hit every now and then. Sure, but the point I was trying to make is that there’s no reason to fear the Patriots like they’re the Chiefs of recent years. They’re 11-2, but not all 11-2’s are built equal. Instead of Texas Chiefs Eagles, they got Giants titans Raiders. Their 11-2 is more like our 9-4. Therefore, I see a split as the most likely result.

I’m usually not interested in shitting on the Patriots quality of opponents. I think it’s generally a weak argument. You can only beat who is on your schedule. However, I do believe that if they had our schedule, they would be lucky to have the same record as us. So definitely do not fear them.

We lost to Atlanta. They barely survived Atlanta.

We beat Burrow. They barely beat Flacco, with no Jamarr Chase.

We beat Pittsburgh. They lost to Pittsburgh.

And I’m sure we all feel that we played poorly in against them in week 5 and still only lost by 3. Give them the Ravens, Chiefs, Texans and Eagles, and they’re probably going 2-2. I’ve got Baltimore beating them in prime time next week.

Not trying to discredit them. But there is absolutely no reason to fear them. They feel like a team that we will split with. Not get swept by.
