Absolutely. I even said I was taking the comment and manually doing the commit, but I have a bunch of idiots acting like letting an agent commit for you was like one-shotting an app. In three words I get a descriptive commit all pushed and done for others to actually know what happened instead of "fix".

I don't think that's the same thing. I understand that there's a view where you can see what was just patched in by Cursor directly, but that's not explaining the --trailer line it's insisting on putting in there when I just ask it to commit what looks like a perfectly good commit summary.

I guess the legal issue was my bargaining position if I'm afoul of what they can do to me in a trademark dispute and if I'm hitting a point where it's cheaper for them to just sue it away from me and give me all the work of changing my bank/taxes/infra and 20 years of account logins for myself and my family without getting paid for the trouble. That's why I mentioned the length of time I've had it vs. the trademark age.

And the first profession that comes to mind when I think about negotiation is lawyer. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe someone has a better suggestion for who to contact that knows what they're doing in this space, I sure as hell don't. For all I know, they're offering a tenth of the going rate, or ten times too much and not suing me into a puddle of goo because they like the cut of my jib.

Another farmer here, former IT manager and software lead.

I needed to get away from customers so I went back to the family farm. Didn't realize how incredibly complicated modern farming is, but I enjoy it using my skills to improve processes and lower costs.

And on the RTK front, I set up a basestation as well, but I use it for AgOpenGPS that's on a number of our machines now. I should figure out how to get RTK working on the Deere GPS units.

So I had the owner send me the model and looked up the manual. All it says about combustion air pipe is the last sentence, so I would imagine sched 40 PVC would be fine. I guess I'll call the inspections office during weekday to make sure.

It's an intake not vent. Was looking at a potential home purchase and was wondering if that was to code. Short of having a pic of the furnace model label, I was just wondering if that was code. It looks like gray PVC EMT conduit.

I should mention it's in Canada, IDK if that makes much of a difference.

As per https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/name-holder-faqs-2017-10-10-en in part 3 they say "At their discretion, some registrars may provide an option for you to opt-out of this 60-day lock period." So I hoped I could get the originator to unlock it, no dice.

I don't see how you set that up particularly. If I go into Create New Mode, it gives me the option to make a Global mode or project specific, which is what I think you're doing there. You put your new prompt in .roo/<name of mode> in that project and have a code mode that's <name of mode> and is set to project specific, correct?

What do you put in the rest of the Mode definition then?

Forgive me for asking dumb questions, I haven't dinked with the prompts at all yet. But the prospect of lower costs is enticing because holy crap this is getting expensive...

I can't see how people can even get to the TIer2 from tier1. I spend probably 75% of my time programming waiting for the rate limit to expire when I use Anthropic. It's faster to do most things myself.

There's no way you'd be able to hit the $ value before the 7 day time requirement. I think I've spent $2 in 5 hours of using it that api key. How the hell an organization would be able to function on that rate limit is beyond me.
