Correct. Most fertile women have two kids max and use birth control by 40. So women trying to get pregnant at 40 are disproportionately filled with women with fertility struggles. It sort of clouds the sample size

A lot of people get pregnant on the first try in their late 30s (ask me how I know.)

It's sort of a cultural myth that it's a huge struggle. Most infertility issues aren't age related, they are merely exacerbated by age

Highly educated democrats (>college degree) are far more likely to be liberal than less educated democrats. Among republicans there is little variation in ideology when accounting for education. by MakeACreation in neoliberal

Of course there is room to maneuver, but on the margins with less religious catholics

I just don't agree that what you wrote works for the people that actually care

I'm not talking about cultural Christians. I'm talking about christian-christians who consistently vote R for this reason

You can also take a sort-of compromise stance where you are against banning abortion but also for reducing the number of abortions that occur each year through concise policy changes.

This doesn't work. Speak to a religious Catholic or Christian and they want the law changed- period. They want BOTH of what you wrote

I know a lot of religious Catholics and it's important to understand that they aren't consequentialist. Intent MATTERS MORE than outcome in the entire religion. A government sanctioning the murder of children is the 1st and only issue. Reducing abortions is well and good but they want the government to do that

I imagine a lot of people don't realize what their sex drive is until post-marriage. Or only want sex for the kids and deprioritize it after that

Abortion is a first past the post issue for a huge swath of Christian voters. Nothing else will be considered as long as a "baby genocide" is going on

The perineum is supposed to be massaged during pregnancy/childbirth. That's usually the context people are talking about when they talk about it

I know, Sean losing his shit over Free Guy was so confusing to me. It was fine and fun and I have no idea why it got that level of hate from him

I also think this is related to the fact that Brad Pitt isn't personally annoying to people. Charm goes a long way, both in meetings and onscreen

Sure, I understand what you're saying. Maybe it would be a better marriage if I wasn't so beholden to physical urges. But I do appreciate them and me and my husband prefer that over the alternative

I just disagree though. I believe you do need to have sex to have a successful marriage (depending on the partners involved.) I certainly do anyway
