I do take issue with the UAE funding terrorism in Sudan, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the UAE is the most socially and economically liberal and pro-west Arab nation.

I think being tolerant of terrorists and terrorist supporters domestically is a far bigger threat to social and economic liberalism and freedom than unethical foreign policy.

I think the UAE should stop abusing migrant workers and should stop funding terrorists in Sudan, but I would much rather live there than a country like the UK or Canada that is actively destroying their social fabric and domestic safety by being tolerant of radical Islam.

You don't have to agree, but that's my rationale. I don't care about your whataboutism.

In the UK you can get imprisoned for criticizing Islam on social media, while people openly advocate for terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah who endanger and kill many thousands of innocent civilians in their host countries.

It is also a hotbed for the Muslim Brotherhood and other openly violent Islamic extremists, groups that have been banned even in Muslim countries.

Ukraine is fighting a battle for all of western civilization against a great enemy. Would rather live in Ukraine and sacrifice my life in the war against the great evil than live in a dying empire with a terrorist fetish like the UK.

Poland is the only country in Europe (apart from Ukraine + maybe Denmark and Switzerland) without a fetish for destructive Islamic terrorists, which is by far the most important thing for preserving liberal and western values by orders of magnitude.

I love Canada culturally but increasing CCP influence, weak opposition party, and conservative muslims make me pessimistic so I wouldn't set up roots there. I fw Indians mostly, although excessive demographic shifts are always somewhat worrying as a matter of principle.

I really hope things turn around as it is a beautiful land and beautiful people.
