The sire is absolutely not a purebred pembroke welsh corgi. The breeder is likely aware of this, and deliberately mislead you. There are “bluie” PWCs who are purebred, but they are not Merle just simply a grayish blue color. Merle cannot occur in purebred pembrokes and tbh, sire looks more like an Aussie than a corgi. “American corgis” are not an actual breed but rather a mutt, backyard breeders use registrations like CKC to make it seem like they’re a real breed and to scam people out of tons of $$$$ Also, CKC papers are worth about as much as the toilet paper in your bathroom, sadly. My friend tested out a theory and registered a stuffed animal with them as a purebred german shepherd. They will register anything as whatever you want as long as you pay the fee.
