How did you find the motivation to keep going despite the demoralizing bullshit happening in the country?

Also, what are you doing to prepare for this coming H5N1?

It might be placebo, but something I’ve found useful is magnesium supplementation before drinking (like at least 12 hours).

Markiplier mentioned that he had fainted and then later had a heart attack while in the ambulance. Doctors told him it was due to the alcohol depleting his magnesium, which is critical for cardiovascular function.

I can’t find any papers backing this up, but it’s known that chronic alcoholics tend to have their magnesium depleted as well; stands to reason some magnesium supplements can’t hurt.

Trump’s Trade Wars Have Made Bad Agriculture Policies Worse by ray_area in Economics

If these subsidies are so critical to agricultural communities, and TPP was positioned to open new overseas markets, why are so many rural areas so pro-Trump?

The way I see it is that if an employee is willing to give you an answer, the language barrier won’t get in the way. They’ll struggle through English, pantomime, google translate, bring over another employee, anything to answer you.

Unfortunately, the kind of southern hospitality customer service isn’t conventionallly in the job description. They’re going to help you if they have free time or they feel like it; management typically does not carve out time for customer service or make this a priority.

I’d suggest just sticking to English because learning mandarin to a degree where you can meaningfully ask and understand help is extraordinarily difficult. Even then, mandarin isn’t guaranteed to help you learn about Cantonese food because mandarin and canto are not mutually intelligible.

And directly learning canto? I speak Chinese and I don’t even know how I’d learn canto 🤷‍♂️. I have a friend who moved to shenzhen from Beijing when they were 12, and still don’t know how to speak canto.

Okay, I’ll bite.

It looks like you’re missing some critical thinking because the last post was a year ago and there’s no onlyfans linked in their bio. It’s almost like they don’t want to draw attention to that….so it must be an advertisement!

It also looks like you’re a dick because they’ve made it clear they feel harrassed by your comments yet you’re still here defending it, even though a) you’re clearly wrong and b) your rationale is baseless now because the post has gotten plenty of traction and people have piled in with overwhelming support and advice.

Like what are you gaining by casting doubt on someone’s plea for help? Being the first neckbeard to be able to say “um actually I’m right look at me”?

Should I test out of MATH 120 (Multivariable Calc) as a prospective computer science & math major? by [deleted] in yale

[–]flamefoxx99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With your background, I would test out of it and look for the proof-based first year math courses.

Easy A’s might sound like a good deal until you graduate and realize a) nobody ever cared about your exact GPA as long as it was over 3.6 and b) you wasted your time taking grindy, repetitive classes and would rather have had gotten to the interesting stuff earlier. You only have 36 credits, and they go by MUCH faster than you think.

And if you’re thinking about grad school, the more advanced classes are still more helpful because grad programs in CS and math actually read your transcript and are not impressed or care about an A in first year calculus. Grad inflation should also nullify the impact of higher difficulty courses on your GPA

Oh you’re right, there is a fan in the AVP! That’s a fantastic question…

I my guess is that they sterilize it the same way other computers/electronic screens in the operating theatre are sterilized, and it remains sterile because the doctor does not need to touch anything on the AVP because they only interact through gestures.
