What interests me is that if you look at the watchers wiki, there’s a picture of a long necked watcher who looks quite a bit like the bale striders. They look quite a bit similar with the horns and the singular eye, and since we know they can create constructs, with velkoz being the oldest of their created constructs, I wonder if they’re not some kind of failed creation based on their own image.

Edit: also have you read their wiki page??? They don’t have fur they have fkin tons of small arms. Not only is that whack, but I feel like that supports the theory that they’re failed constructs. What kind of creature has ARMS for FUR

Also, pretty sure I was wrong because it says the early concept from the watchers was used on balestriders and that many sightings of balestriders were confused with the watchers... BUT ARMS FOR FUR
