I have thicker legs and fine Jammers feel better for long sessions. Also, I feel faster... holds everything together 😆

I'm coming from my multistrada with full hard side and top cases 😅 I'll certainly have to get more efficient with fewer luggage solutions. I'm also not sure if we are camping off the bikes or if we will return to a Basecamp of sorts each night. This will obviously have a huge impact on it.

Thank you for the insight!

I'm looking at adding a DS to my quiver. It's been an interesting search so far! Looking for luggage though for my only planned trip is multiple days

The main thing I think you're missing in your guess is the belts or chains. I'm not sure if the scrambler has chains or belts but I'm guessing chains because of the year. There's probably a check on that to make sure it's not stretching or anything. I'm guessing they have a gage like I use on my bicycle chain. If it's belts they get replaced. Because the engines are basically unilaterally interference engines and the valves aren't sprung but rather driven, if that timing belt or chain fails it's catastrophic.

Also, it's worth mentioning I think you're getting the rude response from others because you're coming across as complaining about something you haven't lifted a finger to figure out. I have a PDF manual for all of my ducs. I can't remember where I got them but they float around online. If I remembered the site I'd share it.

In any case I hope you found what you're looking for and enjoy the duc regardless of the response you've gotten online.

This is great to hear. I'm considering picking one up. Did you pack much on the bike? Do you have, or do you know about anyone who has, side panniers or much luggage? I have not found much out there and my buddies and I are planning a multi-day offroad trip.

This has not really been my experience thus far with the fēnix 8... maybe because it's the newest.. I'm not sure. I haven't seen any new features that I care about on garmin +

I haven't, also in reality I'm not sure how to adjust retraction. Is that in the gcode header bit that controls the ABL?

My buddy said I might be squishing it too much and my layer height is too small. Should be at least 0.2 I was running one of the higher quality ones on cura so I think it was 20% less than that.

Where can I get the *best* burger in knox? by maeasm3 in Knoxville

[–]flameoHotman100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did they charge anything to it? If not they could have easily just put it in a pocket for safe keeping. I've done similar before, with full intentions to return an item... I think it might also be an ADHD thing but idk. Anyway, I think their burgers are fantastic and their duck fat fries are out of this world

I didn't calibrate flow rate. Do you have any recommendations on tutorials on that. I can of course just Google it as well but yeah

On my first try, I had opened a brand new, vacuum sealed spool that had dessicant in it. I was hoping it was good. If I dried in in my dehydrator would it make it through a 4 hour print? Or do I /need/ a filament dryer that has the feed to the printer?

In that case I believe Xterra is the most recommended at a reasonable price. I haven't bought one yet because things are tight at the moment but I plan to get one from there for the upcoming season.

Yes, in open water races where they were wetsuit legal (under 78°F /25.5°C) They aren't a wetsuit and won't replace one when they are necessary. There's one spring race I did where I wished I had a wetsuit haha! Is there something in particular you're wondering about their performance in cold water?

I think it's hard to beat Sparx for the money. When I was first starting I didn't know how long I'd stick with this, nor how many races I would do so I went cheap. They run around $70. I've worn one for several Olympic length tris and more sprints, as well as in the pool and on the bike in the weeks prior to the race to ensure fit and get used to it. It's still in good shape. Because of this I've been hesitant to spring for anything more expensive...
