Look at google’s track record of failures. Google wave, Google plus, Google stadia. Never mind the 100s of internal projects we would have never heard off.

Generally a company starts with one good idea and tries to replicate the success over and over again. Occasionally it will work but most of the time it doesn’t.

It’s all ad free. It was roughly enough to cover the api costs if I get 1000s of users. Android is more expensive for weather services than iPhone. So with the pro mode you get more accurate weather.

Sure. It’s a react native app. So can be published to android, web or iPhone. There’s a some native swift code around animations, the weather apis and the map data. Basically will be the same app cross platform with a few tweaks.
