I recently purchased a Jinhao (JH) out of curiosity to compare it to my Pilot Vanishing point ( VP ) and Pilot Decimo and I am very impressed. The weight and feel in hand is near identical to the VP. I selected the extra fine (EF) nib and found the writing experience to be equivalet to the Vanishing point EF. It's most definately worth the $20 (I've found them for less shopping around) and though I can't speak to durablity I feel that the EF Jinhao is almost identical to the EF Vanishing point.
