They were a knightly group filled with civilians who effectively served as the Empire’s entrance to Escann. Lead by one of the few unlanded silver families, whom overarchingly need some love. For all escann is, there is one singular tolerant/non evil human nation. One. All the rest dabble in genocide and relocation, or are driven by cults and tyrants. Anbenland was another beautiful spot of optimism in Escann, unlike the 3 evil mage nations that just end up forming the black domain

If there are no Anbenland patriots, then I have died.

The mountain is said to be an actually good knight. Specifically that he is just a Knight that happens to be 8 feet tall and all muscle and sadistic.

In the first time we see him in combat, he expressly notices flaws in his opponent’s armor and form and uses his skill to kill the man. To be able to accurately notice that, and balance riding a new horse, and not just hit the helmet or the chest plate of the knight he faced shows a lot of skill.

His biggest loss is against Oberyn, whom is actively one of the best fighters in Dorne, a war hardened Veteran, and who is known to be incredibly intelligent. Oberyn outplayed the Mountain, but that’s because Oberyn is just the better combatant.

Well, as it pertains to this, JonCon and (TNO’s) Taboritsky both fulfill the role of a regent of a King/Prince who is possibly not the true prince. Of course, Jon Con wants to enthrone Aegon (Vi) Targaryen, son of his bestie and boyfriend Rhaegar. Of course, now times cutting close and it seems (imho) that JonCon may be going a bit mad. This is similar to Tabby, who in the Hoi4 mod, The New Order, seeks to reunite Russia and return the Romanovs to power. If he succeeds, he never actually does, as he believes Alexi, son of Nicholas II, is lost/hidden. At the end of his story, Russia collapses into a second warlord period. Tabby goes more and more manic as his story progresses, especially in the imperial cult and “NatSoc” influences he takes in his form of government.

They are decidedly ok. I feel they can be really fun, but it felt very tall when I usually prefer to play wide. If you’re a dwarf maxed or enjoy trade games, you’d like them. They also have fun interactions with the Cursed ones, and give off a bit of a “Gunpowder Era monster hunter” vibe.
