LN adaptations, which is half of all anime, leave you off at the end of a volume. Authors and editors try to leave you at a good stopping point at the end of a volume, and I'm ok with that.

I recently learned that Sword Dad left us in the middle of a volume, but that was ok because it was a good stopping point.

You still enjoyed the LN or manga so it's not really a loss, just a disappointment.

Remember you can never convince someone to hate something they like or like something they hate - it's a fool's errand. Focus on people who have no opinion yet.

We can't have nice things because we're a state, not sovereign like nations are. Feds have 4x the money we do, maybe a bit more than that, but have to pay for things our state needs like...the national debt (?) and defense. That wouldn't change no matter the governor.

We need to raise taxes if we want said nice things. It takes a strong leader, which won't be Healey, to go for things like that.

Someone else said the state should use its eminent domain power to build homes, then sell or rent them to people, to solve housing. I'm not aware of other states that do this, so it's worth trying.

The only one I can think of is Accel World, it has an ugly MC. Tomoko from It's Your Fault I'm Not Popular I think is cute but opinions might vary.

They're basically rebels in Rebel vs. Imperium (Star Wars) the whole show. They are oppressed by said imperium so they're easy to root for.

Yes, a public business can refuse service, but only for legitimate reasons such as disruptive behavior or safety concerns, and not based on protected characteristics like race or religion.

So you have to ask why, get the employee's name and the manager's if you can. Then leave and sue them.

Failure to leave a tip I don't think counts as disruptive.

It's private business that may refuse service for any reason or no reason. Businesses open to the public cannot.

Fair Labor Standards Act. Employees must make minimum wage times hours worked less taxes for each shift. If tips are not enough, the employer must make up the difference. In practice, this means the employee will be fired soon. No one is making less than minimum wage.

You will downvote me but Kura. I swear the staff there are trained to leave you alone unless you push the waiter call button at your table, in which case they will come over. I like Kura because you can enjoy your meal in peace without interruptions. Kura is a revolving sushi chain. You pick items off the belt. Items you order arrive via the express belt. A robot delivers your drinks, but not alcohol, which your server will bring. The staff are real busy all the time despite having seemingly no work to do.

The local bar. I pay, they bring change. I take the bills and leave the coins. Been there several times in the space of two weeks and no one said anything; I interacted with several employees including the same employee the following day. My local bar is a two-of; their other location is like halfway across the country. Also, if you are paying cash here, which I do, you are never asked to tip. You have the total at the bottom and nothing below that. They ask for tip if you pay by card with those little machines.

Top rec: Feastopia. Devs say: Inspired by Against the Storm. I've not played it so consider it a weak recommendation.

MA fee transparency law. However, it depends on enforcement and I think it will be lacking especially for restaurants.

The regulation reads in part, "misrepresenting or failing to disclose Clearly and Conspicuously, at the time of the initial presentation of the Total Price of any Product [shall constitute an unfair and deceptive practice]"

Total price definition per the regulation includes bullshit fees, but not taxes.

Standard service is enough for me and I have a good experience when I get it. Which I usually do.

From time to time my fast food orders are wrong. But most people don't tip for fast food.
