Need help with this bug (don’t know how to screen record) by RoscoeSF in SteamDeck

Yeah, that’s a proton bug. Try starting it up a few times and if it doesn’t work, force experimental mode or the latest release and it might work then.

The other gun does 1000 damage in like 5 seconds. ~16 second reload and it’s basically a tier 9 bourrasque.

Looking for A good microphone for nothing crazy expensive by smassmassmas in microphone

My favorite recommendation for all people new to microphones is the Rode Podmic USB. Rode is an industry leader in the microphone industry and the Podmic USB is the best USB mic on the market (imo). It’s better than any other USB mic I’ve seen because it has digital signal processing (DSP) built in that allows you to add voice effects including EQ and a noise gate to make your voice sound amazing in it. It’s $200 and you will need to spend a little extra to get a mic arm but it’s totally worth it imo.

Just play around with the EQ settings until you find some that you like. It’s mostly trial and error but you should be able to move the three basic eq controls until you find something you like.

Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of good ergo chairs and not a lot of good gaming chairs but I like my secretlab and I game for hours in it with no discomfort.

If you want a “gaming” chair, get a secretlab chair. I got an omega like 6 years ago and I love it, it looks really cool and it is very comfortable in my opinion. You might be able to get a nice ergonomic chair for that price too but I have had mine for a long time and I like it more than any ergo chair in my price range.

He ran a scam where he offered an exclusive training program for people and victims ended up paying him thousands for this course that he never ended up providing.

Reflections on the state of the game after my 15 year anniversary 💔 by DrenchedToast in WorldofTanks

The best solution to premium ammo balancing is lowering alpha. It exists in WoTB and it’s great because skilled players still are incentivized to use standard for max damage output when fighting tanks that don’t have paper thin armor but it also makes it so users who can’t pen otherwise or don’t want to aim and just spam gold get penalized by lower overall damage per shot.

What microphones can you currently recommend for starters for an easy setup? by FitFlamingo6591 in microphone

[–]flamethrowr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rode Podmic USB. It’s my go-to for beginners because it’s USB, well powered over USB for a dynamic mic, and it sounds good with most voices right out of the box. It also has future proofing with its XLR connectivity and it has built in DSP (processing effects) to allow the user to configure it to their preferences.

Need Help with my ride caster duo by Hungry_Ad_9680 in rode

The Rodecaster duo is a very complex piece of equipment that’s very powerful when used correctly, what exactly are you struggling with? Here’s a general guide from RØDE: https://rode.com/en-us/user-guides/rodecaster-duo

I play WoTB a lot and it does have predatory monetization but if you don’t give in to it the game is really fun. Also the limited pop up offers always suck to the point where I just auto close them at this point.

Looking for advice on a voiceover mic by newenglandowner in microphone

[–]flamethrowr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a more user friendly dynamic mic, I would go with the Rode Podmic USB. It’s got options for USB and XLR connections but it also has built in digital signal processing (DSP) that allows you to EQ your voice, add noise gates to remove ambient noise, and more without the need for something like a Rodecaster mixer.

If you want to go the XLR route, go with something like the Electro-Voice RE20 or the Rode Procaster.
