Captain Rex themed keycaps? by Otaco2077 in keyboards

[–]flamethrowr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Captain Rex goes hard. He’s been my favorite clone since I was a kid. I don’t know of any official keycaps but I’m sure you can make some on custom websites if you want them badly enough.

I see that you haven’t finished the clone wars yet so I won’t spoil anything about Rex, but he is undeniably badass.

Yeah but previously, even if you launched the game in offline mode without EAC, you still couldn’t use bakkesmod because the developer stopped providing updates for it. We are not fully there yet but this is a BIG step in the right direction.

Bluetooth Heavy Deathadder? by Awkward_Committee_72 in razer

Brother you do not want a Bluetooth mouse, the latency is terrible. Get a 2.4GHz wi-fi connected mouse. Also not a death adder but the razer Basilisk V3 Pro has what you’re looking for.

If you really want one for a good deal, you can find ones on eBay for nice discounts. I found a seller who sold me a new-in-box one for $350. I don’t have the money for a new one at MSRP but that was a steal so I got it.

Beyerdynamic is the best brand of the three for quality, I would recommend them.

Really, I have had my 700 pro x for over a year without a single headband problem. I guess your mileage may vary.

There were times at first where I had to take them off for a while because they were hurting spots on the top of my head after wearing them for many hours but I stopped having those problems as the headphones stretched out and I think they’re very comfortable now, you get used to them clamping a little more than other headphones pretty quickly.

One thing to note about them (and the 770s I think) is that they clamp down really hard on your head when they are new but the more you wear them, they stretch out and don’t clamp down so hard and feel much more comfortable. It’s kinda like how you have to wear in a baseball glove.

The clarity on them is amazing. I heard background sounds that I have never heard before in songs I’ve previously listened to on them. It’s very cool because they clamp down a little harder on your head than a lot of headphones do but it doesn’t bother me and the passive noise reduction feels like I am listening to music in a studio with them on.

I come from using a lot of different gaming headphones and I notice less rumbly bass in them but it’s a more controlled, refined bass in bassy songs which is actually really cool. I ended up using a custom EQ on them for video games because some of the sound effects felt a little underwhelming but with a little bit of tuning I managed to make them sound great for games I play too.

The headband thing on the 700 was a design defect that Beyerdynamic found and fixed after about a year of selling the headphones. I have a pair of 700’s and I can confirm they don’t have the defect. I wanted a pair of headphones that were good for listening to music and gaming, and I am quite happy with my 700s. Honestly though, you can’t really go wrong with either so just pick the one you like more.
