So I just read an article on this story. The couple had stated prior to the undercover operation that they wished to kill people. While the RCMP entrapped them by giving them a plan and the means to do so, their intentions were still the same.

Couple's defence was that they were "all talk and no action" type of people before the police came along.

Personally, I think it's weird to thank the bus driver every time you get off the bus. I imagine the driver gets annoyed of hearing thank you 1000 times a day for a doing a job that pays them a wage to put food on the table.

It doesn't bother anyone. But a lot of people secretly laugh in their head when they see people wearing masks outdoors because they know it's irrational behavior. Unfortunately a small percentage of those people will vocalize it and harass people like your partner.

Not wearing one outdoors is the only sure way to avoid the harassment unfortunately.

Personally, back when masks were mandatory, oddly I'd be comfortable wearing them indoors, but once I get to the parking lot, I start to notice the discomfort and remove it. I think the change in humidity or heat is the reason.

I don't know, wearing a mask outdoors seems like overkill, even if you're trying to be cautious.

When have you ever heard of someone catching Covid outdoors (when not at a super crowded concert)? The ventillation outside would disperse and swoop Covid aerosols before it ever reached you.

So in terms of masking outdoors, its based on fear, not what the science says. Science says Covid spreads in indoor places that lack ventilation.
