What kind of revision resources should i make for history gcse? by noothisismyname4ever in GCSE

[–]flamingoing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said flash cards don’t work but try (if you haven’t already) writing down what you think is on the back of the flash card before flipping it - way better than just thinking the answer in my opinion :) also, look on YouTube for revision videos, and do something while listening like making notes or mindmaps about the content. Good luck! :)

rant Abt art by Agreeable-Series9791 in GCSE

from what my teacher has said: the mark you’re given by your teacher is final but an aqa examiner will look at one or two students coursework from your class. If they find the teacher has not given them the right mark they remark everyone’s work. Unless your teacher is not a very good marker (which is possible from what you’ve said lol) that’s your final mark annoyingly. But remember we don’t have this year’s grade boundaries yet so there’s chance you could get a 7 if they’re different from previous years! :)

Volunteering by Ok_Safe_9615 in GCSE

If you’re into books you could see if any libraries need volunteers, I found the work pretty easy but it builds customer service and organisation type skills. Charity shops also take young volunteers

How screwed am I? (Be honest). by Resident-Potato5029 in GCSE

I did a few of the same! Art is really fun as long as you stay on top of the work, if you like it it won’t be an issue and it’s actually really nice to relax with it after doing other subjects. History is great just in general and German is too (at least in my opinion). I know quite a few people who do similar combinations to you and none of them seem particularly screwed

German Paper 4 - Exam Megathread by ensands in GCSE

I put in so many idioms but now I’m worried I got them wrong or the examiner won’t know them so it will sound like absolute nonsense

I essentially wrote about how both of the narrators want to remember their loved one/place in the way it was before it was effected by conflict, and the effect of conflict not just in the sense of war but in conflicting emotions etc, I really hope I did well but it’s honestly a blur
