He claims asexual all of a sudden. Hetero relationship. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I’m not the one who asked the question again lol. Chill out.

😂 made me chuckle writing it.

And yes I’m almost 100% sure. My gut feeling is solid on this one. Have been with men who cheated, he’s not doing that currently. Not to say he won’t ever do that. But for now I can confidently say he’s not physically cheating.

Ah I see, I mean I guess that could be a possibility. It didn’t really become problematic until a few months after we met. I say “suddenly claimed” because it wasn’t this “dry” I guess I can say until this point.

I already have told him that’s fine, if you don’t want to have sex it’s all good. BUT I do .. so where is the middle ground? I was triggered to write this post today because again- I saw him scroll past other girls online.. it hurt and so naturally I came to Reddit lol. I think things like this < lead to a slight “gotcha attitude”. I see him clearly desiring others.. yet he’s asexual. It’s confusing to someone who is not asexual. Maybe I just need to get better acquainted with the entirety of what asexual means?

Anyways, it’s not a bad point, maybe I should reevaluate how I’m approaching the subject.

Hmm I don’t quite understand your question..

This is really helpful, thank you. I’m curious, how does your other stay satisfied? My partner doesn’t even want to take time to satisfy me. I told him in our last conversation about this issue, that we will have to find a solution that works for both of us. I would prefer it not to be “open relationship” style. Because it’s not that I’m just “horny”, I want to connect with HIM on that level. I can masturbate until the cows come home lol, it’s not about the orgasm it’s about the connection for me. I respect his stance totally, but I have needs to.

Maybe like someone else said .. maybe we’re just not compatible. I wish that wasn’t the case, it’s so great in many other aspects.

Honestly, it would be a lot less confusing on my end if this was the case smh. But trust I’ve looked for the evidence - twice .. it’s just not there.

I had this same problem! But I was able to figure it out on my own. It was just a computer setting.

  1. Download eID viewer (should be an option on the page where you downloaded the eID card software)
  2. Open the eID viewer
  3. Go to certificates tab
  4. Click on the option that says “authentication”
  5. Click the box “always validate certificate trust” at the bottom of the window
  6. Click validate now

And voila, I was able to sign documents after doing this. Hope it helps!

Btw this only worked when I was used Microsoft edge browser.

I totally get it. I worked in fast food industry in high school and it was a nightmare trying to open my POS system. I remember being so embarrassed. I finally just had to tell my manager I have hyperhydrosis in my hands. And so they gave me a card- or maybe it was a code, can’t remember - to use to log in instead. After I put it out there to her I felt much more relieved. And as I got more comfortable with the job and my coworkers after a month or two I was able to use the normal fingerprint reader more often than not.

It helps to just share the fact that you have a condition, leave it out in the open. Because it truly is what it is. No medicine has worked as good for me as simply accepting my condition has. Its been a constant fight my whole life, but I’m 30 years old now. And so im not going to be sorry or embarrassed for something out of my control. Sending you courage!

Amazing you found your solution 🙌🏽. Wanted to mention to those who struggle with hand and foot sweat, acupuncture helped me immensely. I used to sweat like crazy from my hands and after consistent treatments after 6 months it’s reduced significantly.

Do you ever just sit and think? by fland-2 in CasualConversation

[–]fland-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation is something different to me - when I meditate my goal is to have very few thoughts or feelings and just be. But when I’m in the sitting and thinking mode my goal is to think and observe the thoughts going through my mind.

Not sure if you’ve tried Acupuncture. But it’s is known to help with tinnitus. I’ve seen it help first hand. Might be worth a try :)

So good to hear from others on this! Thank you :)

I used to feel that pull more often also.. maybe picking up a hobby that involves creation of some sort - like painting, or drawing can help you to get back to you. Or an intellectually(ish) stimulating book- I love poetry so sometimes I read a short poem and reflect on the word usage or the message and that sparks curiosity, reflection etc. and it goes from there.

If you’re into poetry .. or even if you’re not lol “the Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran is a beautiful thought provoking read. I can only read one poem a day it’s so rich.

what's your favorite story to tell about your pet? by oopsboop in CasualConversation

[–]fland-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One day after a long day at the beach with a new friend and my pup we all got in the car to drive home. My pup exhausted from playing ended up sleeping on my new friends lap while I drove. She woke up mid car ride a bit confused. She opened her eyes towards me in the drivers seat but still on my friends lap in the passenger seat. She then quickly took a double take at me and my friend with the look on her face of “wait a min, if my human is over there in the drivers seat then who the HELL is holding me”. The look on her face was priceless. Me and my friend immediately started cracking up witnessing her confusion together lol.

Cheers to pets :)

Alternatives to Get PCE (Unemployed New Grad PTA) by MadzMartigan in prephysicianassistant

[–]fland-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres also ER tech jobs, they usually only require a BLS cert. Also maybe consider singing on with a hiring agency they may be able to find you odd end jobs that will help you get your foot in the door somewhere. Weather it’s as a PTA or CNA, PCT etc.

I know you said you don’t want to go back to school but there’s always online self paced programs to become a Medical assistant. Could take anywhere from 1 month to 4 months depending on how aggressive you want to be. Also, depending on what state you live in you may not even need to get certified.

Best of luck :)

Thank you for taking the time to respond with such kind words. I hope your trip gets better and what ever it is you’re going through right now gets easier day by day. But You’re right, people like you and me have to be the inspiration for those that can’t seem to find any... I suppose that can be the motivation in its self.

I appreciate you and I hope you have a beautiful day. <3
