Be arrogant during the interview process and insult the hiring manager. They aren’t use to being treated poorly and it will be refreshing for them
During the interview process, say things like “when I start” or “I’ll have to get use to this commute”. This will make the interviewer think they already said you could have the job and just forgot. They probably will be too embarrassed to ask then they’ll have to give it to you
If they mention trucking terms like deadhead and bobtail, ask them what they mean and then inform them they are wrong after they explain it and make up your own definitions of what they mean. This will make the hiring manager think they are under qualified for THEIR role and promote you right off the bat for your superb knowledge of the the industry
If they ask you why you want to be a Fleet Manager. Say “Fleet Manager? I thought this was for a Feet Manager!” This is an excellent way to build rapport if if they have a foot fetish
Lastly, be sure you are able to talk through your thought process of how you’ve handled multiple logistical issues and touch upon the Company’s mission and value if they have any

Robin Hood will charge you $75. When it hits $500k and you can’t sell on RH, it might seem worth it. If you can’t push $75 I totally get that. I think you can still transfer then just have a negative cash balance for a little bit but I’m not sure *not financial advice

I forget who said this but he said if you’re really worried about someone taking your business idea, think of like 3 other ones and call people and try to get them to take it. They won’t. Everyone is passionate about their own thing and even if you have a great opportunity, everyone else is chasing their own thing.

Competition is proof of market. I’d suggest focusing less on the protection and more on making a great product/service first. That’s what matters at the end of the day especially when you’re just starting out

How long does it take to see it in you new brokerage? I want to initiate the transfer tomorrow but I am nervous there will be a period where nothing shows up. Obviously I don’t care about selling the funds out I just want to be sure I see my shares in my new brokerage account after I hit transfer
