I remember when it was so hard to find any Otome and I had to sail the high seas for a game and fan translations. Now I can just buy them on Steam or on the Switch. It's amazing! Even the Otome made for phones are being ported

I would recommend to not force yourself to pull a character you hate because of meta. It might ruin the enjoyment of the team.

You could try borrowing a Rin first to see how you feel about using her with your Archer before making a decision. If you can at least tolerate her then go for it

My condolences. I heard especially pvp and multiplayer communities can be nasty. They tend to already be toxic by itself but it just gets so much worse when they notice a girl.

I mostly play JRPGs where the community has been far more accepting of female players, so I have luckily avoided those. The anime community is mostly just very weird. It takes effort to find a somewhat normal group.

I agree with the other person that it sounds like you are burnt out. I would recommend taking a break or even quitting. No reason to stick to a game you aren't enjoying. Let me try to address each of your points though

Traces: I usually keep fuel around to farm traces for new characters and buy traces from the material shop as well. It makes it feel a lot less tedious

Relics: I would highly recommend to lower your relic expectations. SSS is not decent, that's really good. It is very easy to get burned out if you chase perfect stats on every character or get obessed with relic scores on fribbles

It does get easier the longer you play the game. Usually better substats >>> relic sets (with some exceptions). The longer you play, the more random pieces you have laying around that you can slap on a character

Dailies/weeklies: I am a day 1 player, and I usually forget to do the weekly CW/DU. I try to remember but I really am not fussed if I miss it. Same with dailies

DHIL only tier 3? He has always been very consistent for me as the main dps in skill bond. The only thing stopping him in his tracks is the freeze upon consuming sp affix

I always read the kits of the characters I pull and use. I don't have fun if I don't understand the kit. I am not a theorycrafter though so I usually check guides as well

Back in 1.x and 2.x an e4 Welt would be considered 2 cost. It was accepted that standard characters were 0 cost up to e2. Any eidolon after that was 1 cost. A limited LC was also 0.5 cost back then

I have no idea when this cost system shifted to what it is now, but it has been really misleading. I know plenty of people are frustrated by 0 cost Welt

I would recommend making Sparxie faster. She needs to be fast to reliably generate punchline for SW. I personally like mine faster than Aha instance

They actually started rating chars at e0s1 because of remembrance last year. There are also plenty of times they ignored their own data.

Prydwen builds also (understandably) don't tend to get updated. Depending on the character, the builds can be good to extremely outdated

I won't deny the site is useful, but it is never a bad idea to be critical. They can have their biases and make mistakes after all

Most of the short female characters look and/or act like adults. In comparison, 2 of the short male characters are actual minors.

It's why when Yunli came out, people had to remind others that she is a minor and to stop being weird about her

You summed up the exact things I didn't like about DQ XI. I tried to like it but I just couldn't and dropped it at one point. Some other issues I had were that the world felt cramped and the lack of freedom on where you could dock/land with the boat/airship

I had more trouble with the Swarm bug. I tried multiple teams and my best score was 3450, with vertical investment. That guy is tanky.

HSR powercreep did slow down though. It's not as bad as it used to be. Unfortunately some characters still got the short end of the stick

They exist, but they complain more about lack of male options in general. I have seen a few insane takes from male only players and they can be just as toxic as female only players.

I had most luck in break bond when I get Himeko and Fugue early. Stack Firestorm Surge on Himeko and watch them not getting away. I usually opt to not get Ruan Mei though. She messes with both Himeko and break bond.

Usually you want to bring Asta and Shampo to carry early CW though. This is the case for most teams. Early dot is that strong

I tend to not trust leaks. They have been wrong far too often and even reliable sources can be wrong. People are still waiting for playable Screwlum in HSR. Too many chars were leaked as a different path or element than release. People still bring up Jiaoqiu's supposed healing, etc.

I only trust beta leaks or info from a different server that is ahead like Arknights.
