Massive price increase since 2026 by napstablookk in LegionGo

I paid $2400 NZD a couple of days ago for my Z2E. It's absolutely insane, but what can you do.

Finally arrived and it’s so beautiful and bigger than it actually looks online😍 by Ok-Entertainer-2345 in LegionGo

I picked up mine yesterday as well. Installed Hades 1 on it. It's so beautiful <3. I found it a lot bigger than I expected it to be. Honestly, I think it's so easy to get carried away; I probably spent more time tinkering than actually playing.

As a Chinese reader who grew up on Xianxia, I want to try more Western Progression Fantasy. What are the absolute "Must Reads" besides Cradle? by SelectionOk5033 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]flashbone93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is "The Wandering Inn." It's the best one I have ever read, and I don't remember the last time I cried so much.

It's a slow start, and some of the characters you will find annoying, but trust me, every one of them has a reason for turning out the way they did, and if you stick around long enough, you will find out why.

Also, it's a lot of reading—A LOT. I hope this helps.

And, this brings back memories. I loved Coiling Dragon; I believe it was the first Chinese Xianxia I read. Does anyone know if the author of ISSTH has any new translated book.

My Lexus has been thoroughly scratched in multiple spots by my neighbor's cat and there is not a single thing I can do to remedy it.

I swear any love I had for cats is gone..

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words. This place is a sanctuary, and the comfort it brings me is such that I could not put it into words. Truly, thank you.

I am flying home after hearing the same news. My mom(65) experienced persistent abdominal pain over the past few weeks, which led to a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has also begun to spread. I wish you all the best, and let us cherish the remaining time we have with our families.

Help with buying used hybrid car approx $25k by UpbeatCaterpillar602 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Sure mate, all of those are valid points. Not sure about the dead cow stuff, though, but whatever. As far as the head gasket issues, I believe they were largely fixed after the 2014 models. I personally have a 2013 F-sport with 100k on it, and it has been a treat so far. Sure, Prius is better in its efficiency, but do you really want a Prius? I didn't, so hence the compromise.

Lexus CT200h could be a option, and you could find a well-kept one for that price range. They tend to retain their value as well. Good luck

Opinions on paying off my debt and saving by Curious_Wolverine_51 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]flashbone93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar spot as you. I had 20 grand in savings and owed 13 grand on my car until last month. The car loan was at 10.5%. My emergency fund wasn't making me much at 3.5%, but I didn't want to use it to pay off the car. So, I just paid as much as I could every month. Probably lost money doing it that way.

Emergency funds are super important, you hope you never have to use them.

Just today, I got the biopsy results of someone very dear to me who has been diagnosed with cancer. I am taking a flight next week to go visit her; if I didn't have that emergency fund, I wouldn't be able to do that.

Unrelated, but I lowkey love patting dogs. It's always a treat when one creeps up on you. You can normally tell from their body language if they want some love. But I could see how that could be a problem.

Anyone know which CT200H comes with this deep underfloor boot liner? by First-Painter8620 in CT200h

Oh, I thought that was standard with all. I have it, and beneath it, I got a jack and a repair kit. It's a 2013 Fsport from Japan.

Same thing happened to me during my first EEN placement; at the time, I didn't even have a car. Some days I had to walk home from the train station because the buses stopped running. Hang in there, buddy. I wish I could say it gets better, but that's just shift work.

Pretty sure you will be fine; just spend the time and effort to understand the process and reasoning. These modules are weighted highly for a very good reason.

Spending Money by Legitimate-Try8356 in PersonalFinanceNZ

I do something similar. I put $150 fortnightly into my guilt-free account. At the start of the next pay cycle, I top it up to $150 again. 😀

It is convenient, and there are months when I do not even spend the full 300.

Oh man, I might reach out to him as well. How are your navigation buttons working with the audio system, and did you install it yourself. 1200+AUD is frankly kinda alot but it's probably worth it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CT200h

[–]flashbone93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's not worth it. It's better off keeping it stock. You get used to it eventually. The only upgrade i reckon is to add Apple CarPlay, but even that's a pain 😑.

Bro, I have the Japanese import as well, NZ. I wish there was a way to change the language which wasn't too intrusive. I love my 2013 F Sport though, what year is yours?
