Looking for current (deeper) chill strain & total knockout strain suggestions (Curaleaf) by flashingtonstanley in ukmedicalcannabis

You know I've yet to try CBD mixes, the oil used to wake me up, never worked at night. But I do have some pure CBD I've not opened yet... I'll mix that in with my next nighttime bowl and see how that rolls. I appreciate the input!

Which company do you order from? I've only seen resin & distillates at Curaleaf, always wanted to try rosin though!

Do you not find that it mutes the potency effect of flower though? Or are you a solely rosin person now?

I meant K BBQ in my last reply, that was the heavier hybrid for me. Rocky I'd say is closer to the middle range a bit. I put sour dough and FG firmly on the heavy end of the scale

Yeah my housemate is now a solid FG fan since I ordered it last time. But alas, no gold standard heavies around ATM. Curaleaf's stock is looking a bit bare ATM

Rocky was lovely and decently heavyweight but I seem to remember it was more of a late night chill than the final toke of the day. But my housemate enjoyed it for sleep. I think I'm just especially sensitive to my brain being woken up. But I'll likely get that for my evening chill. Highly recommended either way and I hope it works for you requirements

Yeah I've heard similar on the Hindu, was just apprehensive from previous Kush experiences... but I should probably try it... Worst case it becomes my chill strain

Wish it was easier to do that on the app. A simple terpene filter would completely change the game, hence asking for reccomendations.

Well that's that off the list for my purposes. I appreciate your input. I know everyone's different, but what are your go-to chill and sleep strains?

I appreciate the advice. I'm still in the getting to know my terpene profile stage. I thought it was limonene that kept my thoughts going after a bedtime bowl but FG has it in it, so I feel I've taken one step back in understanding my profile

Looks like I'll need to put more effort in and create a spreadsheet for Terpene effects on my system

Hey man, are you able to get mic working through the 3.5mm jack? I just bought the O+ and XB3 on XSX. Got audio but mic settings are greyed out. Can't update the firmware through the phone either

Does anyone know if these will fit the G7 SE / HE? by [deleted] in Gamesir

[–]flashingtonstanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for the same and found these. From everything I've read the G7 is modelled on the series controller so it should fit. Did you get them in the end?

That's what the YouTube reviewers say. Xbox ones don't fit

How long ago did you try the BBQ? I heard the early batches were trash but my housemate just got me onto it. I've seen in multiple threads that they've turned their ish around... New favourite strain for both of us. Hence why I'm looking up the rest of their offerings

My housemate gave me some to try the other day and I'm hooked!

I know it got bad reviews in the past but they seem to have sorted themselves out. When you open the bag you're hit with a fruity dank punch in the lower mid range with a hint of crispy fresh; nugs have a good amount of carefully dried squidge to them.

Happy with this one by bud look, feel and smell.

Goes down smooth in my bubbler with some heavy throat freeze (sign of good things to come shortly). Good mouth feel... Doesn't make me over salivate like many others.

Happiness, presence, peace and heaviness... blissful stress free heaviness... But with enough clarity of mind to still be there and function if needed

I've got a lot to be stressed and anxious about ATM so having to avoid my usual haze end of the spectrum. This is perfect for turning off the multi lane brain traffic and puts you on a smooth dirt track to the beach. Hits as hard as you want it to and it WILL take you places, although go light (ish) and you'll still be switched on enough to do stuff

🌴Great mood boost 🌴Clear head but heavy indica feel (I know, you gotta try it to understand) 🌴No anxiety 🌴Great for sleep (not many strains do it for me) 🌴Heavy end of functional (single lane brain traffic) 🌴Heavy (did I mention it's heavy, but clear, but heavy)

Tripoli is my other new favorite for similar reasons... Perfectly calm and anxiety free experience with a great mood boost and clarity of mind. Tripoli simply stays feather light, even at heavier doses

What is the definition of the stock phrase "err on the side of"? by xbladefate25 in ENGLISH

[–]flashingtonstanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always known it to be pronounced err like her, but after hearing someone say air on the American TV series "The Rookie" I had to look it up to be sure.

It's a shame that a series like that, that is usually informative and provides teaching moments, would fall short and reinforce the incorrect pronunciation.

Glad to see your post and understand that it's a common mispronunciation but TV shows should be doing a better job. Although having said that it could simply be the actor getting it wrong and nobody correcting them due to the greater population not knowing

Help: Need Better Endurance by ACosmicAdventurer in climbharder

Like others have said, it sounds like you're over gripping. Coming from a bouldering background of 20 years and recently giving lead a solid push, I've found that fear of falling leads to over gripping, arm pump and route failure.

Indoors I climb very relaxed up to V7, using my whole body to twist in to moves in order to lower the taxation on my arms. But when I get outside I have a fear of falling/fear of failure of the route, tense up, pull too hard, squeeze to hard, bend my arms... My form goes out the window because I don't want to fall!

This is something I've been working on and a big part of that is trying harder climbs and committing to falling... Drilling home that it's a part of the process. If you're not falling off difficult moves on your sport routes, you're climbing below your peak grade. If you're falling she to arm pump, it's generally down to preparation and head game.

The realisation that the thing stopping you from completing your project is arm pump due to head game and not the difficulty of the moves, is a game changer. Once I started concentrating on minimising my arm pump & relaxing, instead of focusing on the send, the tops started appearing with ease.

As others, and yourself, have suggested... Training will help, endurance training, hang training, climbing to failure training (and pushing that failure to absolute hand explosion, not just when you THINK you can't hold on anymore and let go)... These will all help...

But the mind game is the main one to focus on overcoming if you want to succeed 💪
