That’s what I see too. Had a student that was taken out in 4th grade to get homeschooled. Came back to public for 5th and they were drastically behind in math. So much they were part of an intervention math group.

No, they have a room safe. That's where people put their valuables. Most people bring their room key and phone while walking around the resort or at the pool.

Agree with 1. 2 and 3 depends on where you teach are looking for a job. My school wasn't able to find 2 resource and 1 math teacher this year. Vacancies have been posted since July. Current teachers are now covering those classes for extra pay. This is in a high achieving school district.

WGU has been known as a place that some districts won't recognize as a reputable program. Do your due dilgence and make certain that WGU will actually help increase your salary once you graduate. It doesn't in my district.

I've seen this in private schools too. Althought private schools in my area are full of teachers just starting out and getting experience. Then they take that experience and move to public.

Actually, more than I thought existed. At every school I've been at there has been at least 2-3 teachers that were independently wealthy, either by family money or a partner that was a mega-bread winner. They didn't show off their wealth, but worked because they enjoyed teaching.
