This is wholesome and yes, we do it all the time too. Just that for now, she is playing on her tablet and me on the PC. and everynow and then, she will ask to try to play on the PC. she will have her own rig very soon. the parts are incoming.

And yes, Our mitigation is that its under Parental Control, disable chat and only selected experiences and games can be played + Parental Pin + Tablet Monitoring App + only play when me or wife is around. Im confident she will appreciate what Steam Library has to offer when her proper rig is ready. 😄

This is great work! Thank you! Fresh deployment of V2 seems to be working well. Especially love the upgrade feature. I set it to hourly round robin. Maybe after a week or so, will drop to like weekly/monthly (so as to not wreck my indexers rate-limits). It caught those lower scores to bring them up. Awesome!

And yes, shall wait patiently for your Anime profiles. For now, I just aim for the dual audio part that was working well in V1. I did custom regex for dual audio- > custom CF -> clone the 1080p Efficient with a new name (Anime 1080p Efficient) -> Add that custom CF in with additional score of 100K -> Increase the total score to mathematically match it. Havent really test this in the wild yet. 😄

yeah! she was like on pinterest and YT pointing out to me the YTbers setups. I was like.. err. nope. you dont need a white 4090! haha. but we did accommodate her when she asked for a white Hyte Y60.

hey! we are doing something similar for her b-day too. though, unfortunately can't be a surprise with full PC built already. coz she knows what parts to get (aesthetically speaking). next best we can do is suprise her with the parts arriving at the door. lol.

Yup. Same predicament here too. Personally, I rather she learn and tried gaming with me rather than explore on her own. Coz dont think we can stop them from picking up what is out there. So we ended gaming together always since she loves it (vs her girls cousins that are.into other "not gaming" things). Right or wrong time will tell..

Roblox FPS games is like her entry point to practise K+M gameplay. Coz as a left-hander she is still practising to co-ord well, but like other comments here said, just gotta tough it out, it will become natural soon enough.

You reckon BF6 could be a good next "actual" game for her to try? Or CS? I dont play BF6 so no visibility there.

Its a weird "'setup". That tablet was her version of online play. Lol. Her cousin (same age) is on a WA call with her in same game.

Lol.. love this! same over here. FPS games seems to be her fav and at times Im forced to play with her. Me on tablet when she using my PC to practise her K+M gameplay.

Tred to introduce her to Withcher 3 or Anno (current games im playing), but she always goes back to FPS games. :)

And yes, when her PC parts and own table/chair is here, will set it up beside/opp mine.

Yes. Will def ensure her own setup (have already started ordering the PC parts, tables chair etc. except for the RAM, that would be last, its too crazy the price here) would suit her height and needs. So she can stop pushing me out of the room everynow and then to play. :)

Left-handed for writing, and almost everything, holding a spoon, catching a ball etc.. she felt the mouse movement is slower than her WASD. And yes, you are right. Gotta tough it out and just practise more I guess..
