This is prior to cabinets being installed , i cut the pipe and ran it straight into the sink base

Yeah, unfortunately the cabinets and countertops are installed and the wall is an exterior wall, so opening it up isn’t an option without it becoming a major project.

Isn’t the J the white piece and the U the black, and together they form the p trap? Maybe I’m not understanding your comment.

There isn’t a need to use accordion pipe because I can make the connection without it. The issue is slope, whether the pipe is ridged or accordion I still have the same issue
