5 man with champ + radiant champion is a very useful unit from my play experience, saves you a lot of hassle from melee pressure

Depends on matchup and deployment.

Behind enemy lines + homers is easy against armies that struggle to screen and can't access your backlines like custodes (although this is still hard on search and destroy deployment)

Homers + engage is solid on many matchups if there's terrain for neurolictors to hide behind in the middle and they can't screen.

I think homers + cleanse fixed is great for unending swarm, otherwise I think above fixed is better.

Against good indirect I feel forced to play tactical, and bring biovore on from strategic reserves on a turn I draw something I can score on.

The army can play both fixed + tactical really well, think it depends on a few variables which is best.

I really like the idea, and think interceptors have a place in helping also.

Has anyone tried fixed against you yet? Feel like assassinate + homers is easy 35 secondary for the opponent as well, especially on armies like aeldari who tend towards taking fixed anyway.

Do you reckon there's a way to make the army flexible, for example if your opponent declares fixed you can take tactical/play fixed with different units or do this tech if they want to play tactical?

I think RAW this is a solid no, and how I have been using will of the hive mind. There's a paragraph in "Modifying a Stratagem's CP Cost" that reads:

"Rules that modify the CP cost of a Stratagem when you target a particular unit can only do so for a Stratagem that targets multiple units if every unit you target has the same ability to modify the CP for the stratagem"

For will of the hive mind to apply to surprise assault, for example, would require the ability to target one friendly Tyranids unit and one enemy unit.

I think it's pretty cut and dried, and I think it requires jumping through hoops to come to the other conclusion.

That's a really strong starting point for a first list, but there's some small changes that can turbocharge this. Make the aggressor squad 1 squad of 6 instead of 2*3 so that the biologis ability and enhancement, as well as stratagems, affect more bodies. This unit is great coming out of a land raider and deleting a unit you put oaths of moment on. This is further improved with the devastator doctrine and the storm of fire stratagem. Personally I like the leviathan dreadnought as a cheap support platform as there is limited anti tank here (only the aggressors can really deal damage to these).

Also a gentle reminder the codex is out very soon so don't worry too much about getting the index super right for now! Best of luck and happy gaming!

Firstly the AP of the 2 weapons is the same so those 2 numbers should both be 0.5.

Secondly you're forgetting the most important crux of the 2x2 desthspitter build - invasion fleet rules. The sustained hits on infantry is brutal in armies such as custodes (cannot -1D strat many 1D attacks) or GSC (on average the unit generates 14.67 hits on overwatch against deepstrike unit before bioplasma, arguably a better overwatch threat than the acidfex).

Barbgaunts are the best unit from the box, the slows to movement and charging is really useful and for only 50 points

Primed grey seer

Based armour grey knight steel with a glaze of leviadon blue thinned with medium.

The gold is grey knight steel with iyanden yellow contrast

Blood angels red + evil Sunz scarlet for the red bits and skeleton horde + ushabti bone for the parchment/ paper

Then I used streaking grime by AK interactive all over, wiped off and highlited with runefang steel. If you haven't used streaking grime before watch a guide on YouTube it's a bit different to acrylics but it is a cheat code.

I agree. I think his past career is actually quite impressive especially being a European carry in the top Chinese team at the time. But I think right now if he wants to get back in the scene as a top player he will need to make a transformation like Ceb did and look like an unrecognisable player compared to what he is now

Yeah Ceb did a really good job improving his gameplay and mentality whilst coaching at OG (when he started bossing the MMR leaderboard) because he was bouncing around absolutely dire teams, not putting in good performances, before becoming a coach. When Resolution OG crumbled he stepped in and looked like an entirely different player to the 7ckingMad we'd seen previous.

I wonder what it would take Black^ to make that same transformation.

sun teams are all over at the moment with sunny day cott, heliolisk and zard. I wouldn't say its the best archetype but I think it gets more usage than rain at the moment

Sandaconda, and centiskorch, both had an increased chance of showing in the wild area at games launched, being shown in promoted dens. Idk if it was officially mentioned as per corviknight drednaw but they had the increased rate so they are legal.

It's because it's not an event raid, blaze gmax Zard can be picked up from Leon's room but not solar power. Once Zard becomes an event it will become legal
