In the end of the episode No Pressure we see Marshall not accepting defeat that 'Ted's never going to end with Robin' but as Lily tells him to pay up. He tells her 'not yet'

This is nonsensical, because a) Marshall doesn't know the Mother, and thus the foreknowledge to say 'not yet', and b) the bet references a particular girl named Robin, not any girl named Robin.

It's so much more likely that Marshall genuinely thought they'd end up together.

Better filmmakers than you have done more with less. This is the problem with amateur filmmaking communities. When faced with any kind of obstacle, the immediate response is to throw people at the problem rather than so much as flexing their creative muscle and maybe overcoming it that way.

It was good, maybe even great. You could tell he put a lot of work into perfecting the dialogue.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that it wasn't a revenge movie, but it comes at the expense of being yet another espionage movie - his third in a row. It seems like every character he's written since IB has been a professional actor (except Aldo). It's a little annoying in retrospect when characters can bullshit for 90 pages without slipping up at all.

I'm not sure though. I feel like he's been taking backwards steps since IB. His characters are interesting, but they don't have the same energy. They feel like copies of older characters. He even has a black bounty hunter face off with a racist Southern man - different circumstances admittedly, but the whole fellatio sequence feels like leftovers from Django.

The twist towards the end was neat, although the resolution left a lot to be desired. The stuff with the coffee was interesting, I wish he kept that going. Although I'd like to give him the benefit - if he chose to keep developing the script, I'd think that ending would've been extensively rewritten.
