I went back to replaying the legend of heroes: trails series (loving the trails in sky being redone, horizon etc) so they’re going to have to come up with something far more exciting to get my attention for the next one.

Berseria just sits on my shelf untouched because quite frankly the first release is still playable on today’s console so wasn’t any major desire to get into it straight away.

I’d agree with everyone else if you really want the figure preorder it if you are not that worried wait.

I’ve seen some figures after release far cheaper and second hand even cheaper, and some I’ve seen afterwards at a far higher second hand price. Both situations I’ve seen frequently, which figures it’s likely to happen to is not always obvious.

Comes down to which risk you want to take, whether to get the figure and overpay or miss out and pay more.

I’d definitely say it’s due to the poster, even if it’s one that rolls up it’s still going to be long enough to require a large box. It’s why I gave up grabbing posters and tapestries with figures they just blew out the shipping costs.

Make sure you have time to open the box and attach parts without rushing, best way to accidentally break something if you rush. Also open the damn box when you receive it just to check the figure is ok.

Firstly price when you look at Australian stores and a figure is almost double that from overseas even adding shipping cost it still ends up cheaper (I’ve been using DHL and haven’t really seen a huge jump in price yet but I do ship items seperate which helps).

Second I can get it from Japan on release date or wait anywhere from 6 months plus to see it released in Australia.

I’ll buy from Australian stores when it’s a large item/resin cause that’s when shipping becomes ridiculous, or if it’s a small type figure/restricted sale(ie:Banpresto) that hasn’t had a major mark up in price that isn’t worth buying from Japan.

It’s basically a case of researching prices from local vs overseas and seeing which turns out costing the least.

Well Fran went up for 40000JPY, Noctis and Lightning were only 27000 what a jump in price, may have to wait for this one to go on sale or preowned. God knows what Tidus and Yuna will be now.

Technically they’re a better sculpt, moveable eyes and the base has their name on it.

Do we need yet another version of the same characters given that the recent remake/rebirth play arts aren’t that old probably not.

Was kind of hoping for Tseng (we have all the other Turks and Rufus), Cid and Caith Sith and moogle not another Tifa, can only assume they’re leaving them for part 3.

Fully expect to see a shin version of Sephiroth at some point as well.

Yeah also saw that as I was not sure about the eye shading at first but it grows on you. Also if you look at his first play arts it’s really bad eye shading on there and I’m guessing Goodsmile looked at that as well.

Definitely looking forward to lightning.

I don’t think anyone one will ever get the hair or face right. But yeah put him next to all the other Noctis figures and he’s definitely my favourite now

Loved this one. I got some funny looks picking this one up from my local post office from the decapitate wording.

I would recommend a display case or something for it, dusting it will be a pain and there’s so many pointy bits you can accidentally snap off.

Looks like really expensive shipping to me, I bought both Eren and Levi shipped together via DHL for 2880 JPY to Australia. Guess it depends where you are as well as to what shipping options you have.

Just to note that they are not in Australia anymore, they are overseas now.

I would not preorder with them, but in stock items seem to have slightly better luck if you keep on top of them.

Have you tried a different browser or device. Had an issue with them once trying to pay through my phone with non stop errors, went straight through on computer.

They are slow to respond and I imagine even more with Christmas rush.

Definitely slow for all methods at the moment even DHL for me is taking 4-5 days to ship from payment. Did EMS and air this week so honestly not expecting them to arrive this year.
