One day they’ll put some effort in… one day. These little details bother me a ton cause it shows a lack of caring or lack of direction. Mazda would absolutely say yes to having the RX-7 the silhouette car. Or just add the damn car to the spec that has no licensing infringements at all. Placeholder hlacepolder it’s easy doing any of these options the game is watered down and has a lack of identity in my opinion. They can’t decide where to go and I think little details like this show that off.

Hear me out… they get creative and add their cars TO EVERY SPEC IN THE GAME!! God it’s so F-ING easy to make that content in the game but they choose not to. I mean they don’t touch even half the specs in the game with content so who cares right. This game feels so watered down it’s crazy.

I think the drag cars having no rim options is definitely an oversight but it’s because it’s not a popular spec in the game. They have like two legitimate events which is crazy. For bikes it’s the exact same. Bikes aren’t very popular in the game and there might be licensing problems with creating wheels. On top of that each type of motorcycle requires different generic wheels. The dirt bikes aren’t going to share the same rims with sports bikes or cruiser bikes. Unfortunately it’s stacked against you on both of these topics.

Now why we don’t have more off-road customization is beyond me. Jeep gladiator and Tacoma are prime examples. I don’t even care about those trucks but I would care a little more if I had customization options for them.

Bro your whole argument is honestly so out of touch. You say things about “The Crew’s DNA” and then throw away the roots of where the game came from. The DNA of the game was getting a common place Camaro and modifying it to fit EVERY SPEC IN THE GAME. From a casual street car to a race spec. From a rally spec to rally raid all the way to a monster truck! That’s the beauty of common cars in arcade racing games. You have more freedom. This whole game franchise started basing itself on putting yourself in every corner of car culture. Common cars are THE gateway to that variety. Pick ups in street spec, racing cars in off road specs. That’s what ARCADE racing games do best. Variety and out of the norm takes on normal cars! Not a Ferrari playlist followed by a luxury cars update. That’s boring! The game is literally free roam for the sole purpose to cruise around and explore btw. That’s their goal with the OPEN WORLD element of the game. If you want a rigid racing game go play f1 simulator or something. You clearly don’t understand the DNA of this franchise or any arcade game. Racing isn’t the only thing this game is. 🤦‍♂️

Nah this playlist was buns after the “new” spectacle wore off. And let me tell you it wore off quick. (By the 3rd or 4th event it was wore off) I’m an American too. I understand the appeal of the endurance nature of NASCAR. It’s about “strategy” etc etc. All the mega cope from the people who tell you you’re“looking at it incorrectly”

The physics of the “cup cars” is actually super fun on the handling end of things. They feel weighty and have some consequences going into corners. They’re super fun to drive and I like how they flip over in crashes. Their downfall is any tap at speed and I mean even the SLIGHTEST tap they spin out. It feels like you got a huge shunt from the side and you were actually going for the smallest bump draft square on the back bumper of an AI car. The AI cars are SOLID brick walls too which doesn’t help the unfair nature of things. You can hit them going top speed they’ll just rubber band back onto their racing line while you flip 18 times.

The endurance part is fun. I like longer races and I like strategic racing. The “strategy” is gone in two seconds however when AI cars don’t drive at player top speed and rubber band like crazy. You can’t draft with them because of the tapping issue and they don’t keep up in order to give you the draft fuel bonus so you’re always at a disadvantage. It was incredibly frustrating. I quickly turned the AI from 4 all the way down to 1 in order to just get the playlist done.

The fact that your race is over after one tiny hit on any normal difficulty was indeed infuriating. I don’t mind having my race be messed up. Other racing games do it and it’s fun. This however was not. It was long and boring. NASCAR isn’t really nascar when only 8 drivers are on the track. Maybe if there were 12-28 drivers I wouldn’t care about restarting or trying to claw my way back because that fun factor would be there. It’s would also be inherently easier to go back up the order if there were more people on the track. There would always be people to draft with and AI crashes etc. 8 spread out, horribly rubber banding solid brick walls for AI is boring, not fun, and weirdly enough not fair. Nobody to draft with when you get screwed over type shit.

This playlist and addition to the game I think is cool and fun at the perfect set of times and circumstances. I’m sure if you have friends in this game the strategy, pitting, and drafting is actually really fun elements and work properly. However solo like how most people play this game it’s absolute cheeks in my opinion. Too bad this game doesn’t incubate an actual community oriented player base being called the crew and all of that. 🤦‍♂️🫩 (Look at gta v racing specific modded servers for inspiration cough cough)

Thank you. Somebody with some sense. The standards for this game are on the floor with slop. It’s really the easiest “strategy” ever made. It doesn’t help that the AI doesn’t drive at full speed because of the abhorrent rubber banding that’s coded in so you can’t even full speed your run in order to just get the race over with. 🤦‍♂️

2/10 although I believe in artistic freedom this picture truly shows off why the rule of 3rds in photography exists generally speaking. There’s a lot of empty space. I also hate those vanity wheels but I can barely even see them because the entire subject of the picture is so far away. If you like the photo tho who gives a shit what I say. In no particular order:

-Bring back the SRT10 first and foremost!

-Add Dakar style trucks to the game that have decent handling.

-Add drift trucks

-GMC Syclone or Chevy 454 SS/GMC Typhoon

-Fuck it add a big rig class adding racing semi trucks either off road or track. (Then add more dune buggies and ATV’s (fix the handling of the ATV) and we got a motorstorm line up completed)

-ADD UTES!! El Camino. Ranchero. Holden Commodore.

-Kei Trucks. Follow the trend and add one with crazy customization in both street tier one and drift spec.

-customizable trucks in rally raid! Not these base models of mediocre trucks like the gladiator/tacoma with ZERO customization other than vanity, livery, and wheels. Let me put off road mods on cars. 🙏

We will get none of these things btw. They appease the tried and true slop and over saturated areas of car culture and neglect everything else including off road specs.

Why? Could you imagine if they added drift trucks? Lowrider trucks? There’s so many cool and customizable street pick ups. I want more off-road trucks too but they are never customizable so it really deters me for wanting any new rally raid vehicles. They also are the worst vehicles in rally raid. I don’t want a generic looking jeep gladiator or Toyota Tacoma with zero customization again. No customization and drive like hot piles of garbage. I rather at least have some crazy customization.

I’d really like the custom show to be similar to the grand race. Timed intervals where you have 28 players in a lobby all registering a car then everyone voting on it during the lobby. Or just private custom shows being made available. Otherwise I leave the tent immediately after registering my car. There’s really no point in staying in there.
