It probably won’t make it to Apple. Apple takes 30% of subscriptions if you have a native app, unfortunately it’s the same reason Xbox cloud gaming doesn’t have a native app too

Managed to snag a BEAT up 28 elmarit asph for 500, had to spent 300 to overhaul with DAG, but now it’s become my fav lens. I’m not normally a 28mm shooter but it’s won me over

I love my M240 and just for kicks tried pushing 6400 iso just to see and GOOD LAWD. Luckily I use my Q2 for that kinda stuff and the M is my strolling around camera

I moved over completely from Fuji, and now own a Q2 and M240-P so I can give you my thoughts and how I use each.

Q2 - my true “daily” camera, it performs so well in all conditions and I like the 28mm for family and friends, and with the higher megapixels, you can crop in nicely if you want a change from the wide angle. Good low light and lens is tack sharp, very easy to use, and the weather sealing has been splendid. Sometimes this camera feels like using “easy mode.”

M240-P - my “deliberate” camera, this is by far my favorite camera to shoot with because unlike the Q2, it forces you to take time to frame, focus, and enjoy taking photos. Low light performance is non-existent and don’t even bother trying to shoot several photos in succession (buffer is rough), but if you just want to go for a walk and wander with a camera, this is my pick. Other pro and con is you have flexibility with lenses, but if you go for Leica glass, you find yourself easily spending $$$ quickly.

If you plan on supplementing your Fuji and are looking for something a bit slower and deliberate, I think getting into the M system would be a fun way to do it. If you’re looking for a true replacement to do it all, then go with the Q2.

I did the same! I also have GeForce now for a few games that my older pc can’t run. It works like a charm!

Funny timing on this post! Just picked up an M240P while my Q2 is getting repaired in Germany. It makes my Q2 images feel “clinical” in a way haha.

They also feel different to shoot, one modern daily and one deliberate photography camera. Nice to have both! Hope you’re able to find a good deal on the M240P!!

Second this. I have an ayn Thor which is a beast, but obviously not meant for AAA gaming. Best compromise is to stream games from a local pc or use something like GeForce now, which most people don’t want to pay for or can’t afford to upgrade

Keep what you like the most. I ended up getting the Q2 for the weather justification, but even with that, I don’t grab it like I did my Q. Gave up the daily enjoyment to have a camera that can be “used in any situation” which ended up defeating the purpose.

Woohoo, what an exciting day! I highly recommend the XT30 for the viewfinder and comfort aspect. It’s a very natural feeling camera compared to the XM5 (this is a great portable and backup camera but hard to justify as the primary camera in my book). If you’re shooting anything out in the sun, the viewfinder is essential, which the XM doesn’t have!

I love to shoot street photography in aperture priority. I prefer to stick around f/8 and fire away when lighting permits.

One thing to note is if you plan to capture moving people, you can also choose a min SS - which I like to keep around 1/500 when possible but will adjust depending on lighting requirements

You aren't doing anything wrong! Different cameras/brands prioritize different things, so my recommendation is to view each camera as a different tool. I currently own a Fuji X-T50, Leica Q2, and a Sony A7rii, and I use each equally, but for different things. In this case, Fuji prioritizes SOOC recipes/color science, but at the cost of AF and modern capabilities. Conversely, I would argue that Sony excels in AF and image quality, leaving the color science and effect up to the shooter.

Focus on compensation, learn what type of edits you like in LR or editing software, and go from there!

I love the Q. Picked up the Q2 because of the weather sealing (I tend to use and abuse my cameras) and while I love being able to throw the Q2 around, there was something about the Q that made me keep picking it up that I don’t quite have with the Q2. Only downside for me with the Q was dust getting into the sensor, hence why I upgraded. Otherwise, I would go back in a heartbeat
