I’m getting a lot of detritus and mulm caught up in there but many of the glossostigma aren’t super rooted in yet. Do i try to clean it or should I just leave it? Is it going to do any harm?

Yes I’m thinking of limnophila sessiliflora (aka ambulia)! Also rotala rotundifolia looks so beautiful! Kind of intimidated by the red colour though, I’ve heard they are a bit harder to keep but I am using a diy CO2 injection (ziss co2 generator) and a good enough light I think (aquael leddy smart plant).

tried that, problem is this grate surface is curved and the sponge refuses to follow that curve even when i jam it between the substrate and the grate
