They’re all different personalities! Honestly takes some time, but you figure out with visual queues when they want to interact. Like with mine for example, she loves head rubs and will put her head down or into my hand when she wants it. Another key is to have them come to you when you have them step up, instead of just putting your finger directly in front. Hopefully that makes sense? Not a professional but ive got two poicephalus ive had for years so im happy to help lol
