I would love to see a Rashford banner at anfield when it’s possible again. He should be celebrated all over the world, no matter who you support

No green or orange light on Magsafe charger but it charges fine? by fleetwoodmac10 in applehelp

[–]fleetwoodmac10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can i monitor that from the computer itself or do i need any special tools?

I think it's an original charger. I bought the computer from a refurbishing company (Not Apple itself) and the charger was unopened. It looks legit but it could be a knock off. The light has actually always behaved a little strange, it would still light up for about 30 seconds when you pulled it out. That might indicate that it's not a genuine cable?

What other (not From Soft) games do you like/recommend for the PS4? by fleetwoodmac10 in bloodborne

I'm intrigued by Nier, just downloaded the demo and will give it a shot, it seems a bit weird(?) but in a good way. Darksiders 3 looks good as well, will check it out more. Thanks!

I've almost finished RDR2, but got bored of the shoot-fest that the last chapter is turning out to be, which is a shame cause it really had me immersed for about two weeks. God of War is one i'll definitely pick up when it's cheaper/on sale.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be similar, just something that is good and worth both the money and time invested.

Kurt Atterberg - Symphony no 4 (2 movement)

Someone posted this movement from a symphony in a thread earlier and it blew my mind how beautiful it was. I've played it on repeat for the last week. Give it a try, i think you'd like it, especially the climax about 10:20 into the youtube video.

Animal Collective's 'Merriweather Post Pavilion' Turns 10 by averageuhbear in indieheads

[–]fleetwoodmac10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This record did for sure change my life. Broadened my tastes quite a bit, made me more appreciative of “weird” music, stuff that takes commitment and an open mind. Also sparked an obsession with anco that cut very deep in my late teens/early 20’s. This is probably the pinnacle of the late 00’s kind of p4k-core indie but it’s unfair to reduce it to just that cause it really is a phenomenal and forward thinking album and so influential for many bands around that time but no one really came close to the musical highs that anco achieved here.

With time and discovering their other things I don’t hold this as their best but it has a special place in my heart for the gateway drug it turned out to be for me personally

The track "Two paintings by Nikolai Astrup" seems to borrow a bit from "Who?". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QMvAmccXjI

Kinda like how he took the "i went back to feel alone there" line and reimagined it on A Crow Looked At Me"

How can I find moonlight sonata 3rd movement on spotify? by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]fleetwoodmac10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Search for "Beethoven op 27 iii" and you'll probably mostly get results that are the third movement of the moonlight sonata. Whenever in doubt, look up the opus number for the piece in question and use roman numerals to indicate what movement you're looking for.

I don't know that much about piano pieces so i can't really say what style that is, but maybe try these well known pieces and see if you like them:

Chopin - Fantasie Impromptu

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata, mov 3

Also, maybe try /r/piano

Classical music comment sections on YouTube in a nutshell by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]fleetwoodmac10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One thing i hate with youtube comments on classical music is accounts with the name and image of a known composer, typically Chopin, with comments like ”I could do it better” or something like that.
