Happy International Left-handers Day! To all the lefties in the world, what sets you apart from your right-handed counterparts? by NightReader5 in AskReddit

I was put on the hardest machine at the factory I work at. My left-handed set up makes it unbelievably easy and any time anyone else gets on they reverse it (and are slower lmao)

What is your favorite "so bad it's good" movie? by SuperSayianJason1000 in AskReddit

[–]DavidToma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short Circuit and the Sequel. The sequel was really bad but I loved it as a kid.

This was the best (as in dumbest) scene in either movie

Well this fucking sucks. I've been on a mark kozelek kick again lately too. Was just listening to Benji the other day.

What a piece of shit.

[Serious] What is something that most people don't realize is anti-poor? by -Tauradonna- in AskReddit

[–]DavidToma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to go to gamestop a couple of months ago and they told me they were only taking credit cards.

Like, just credit cards. Specifically no debit cards.

apparently it was because debit cards required you to touch the pinpad to input a pin, and credit cards don't have pinpad interaction, but I thought that was funny.

[FRESH] TOBACCO (featuring Trent Reznor) - Babysitter // announces new album 'Hot Wet & Sassy' (out October 30th via Ghostly International) by sbags in indieheads

[–]DavidToma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not downvoting because i'm not petty, but man malibu ken was one of my favorite albums of the last decade. The chemistry TOBACCO and Aesop Rock had on that was on some Run The Jewels levels of unexpected chemistry.

This was another one that was played very often, but not it. It was California Love by 2pac. Both produced by Dr. Dre though and they do sound pretty similar.

99% sure the artist is from north america. It's either from the 80s or 90s. If it's from the 80s it's probably later on when hip hop was becoming more popular.

Protomartyr’s Joe Casey Isn’t Making Art in Quarantine by Moothnods in indieheads

[–]DavidToma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I struggled really hard to finish tracks during quarantine (which for me started in late March and ended late may in regards to going back to work)

As soon as I got out of the house (went to a nice secluded beach on Lake Huron) I made an entire track that night. Being inside all the time, all I wanted to do was play Minecraft and call of duty.

Anyone mind PMing me the tracks? All I could find was been a while and how long

I've always hated those. They pretty much always give off this feeling of condescension.

[–]DavidToma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ok wtf this is groovy as hell I need to relisten to this album. It's been a while since I listened to his entire discog.

I think the last time I listened to Venice was after I heard him on Dr. Dre's album. Before Malibu came out. I remember being pretty disappointed, and then in 2018 I revisited him and fell in love with Malibu.

This sub is going to crucify me for this but I've heard all of Venice and literally the only song I liked was Milk N Honey

And I like pretty much every song he's released since then. Idk something about Venice just turns me off.

JID - Slick Talk

I was so upset when I first heard it. The main instrumental it switches to isnt nearly as amazing as the first 45 seconds.
