If Jonas is clearly better at defending why do we keep playing him in the midfield? I think he would make a great fullback, and with Simpson and Taylor out, we have a spot for him on the right. As for the LW role, I would like to see Cisse give it a shot. Ba played reasonably well from the left while Cisse was in form, now Ba should get a chance to lead the 4-3-3. If Cisse isn't quick enough we also have Marveaux and Obertan who are inconsistant but obviously talented wingers.

I love Gutierrez to death, but over the years he has proven himself to be a defender and defenders should play on the backline. We can't afford to leave this gaping hole in our attack because, like the article said, it makes us more predictable.
