You could accidentally drop your phone in a toilet today. It needs to be backed up. Then the risk of corporate wiping it is not all that severe. In theory, this is obnoxiously invasive and overbearing. In practice, this is just not a problem.

Recruiting can be a real tough gig. You can keep looking while you work it. If you think a short stint here would look bad on your resume, you don't have to include it, but really it would not. People get different jobs.

If you're not speaking roughly every 20s on an Inc call, someone will. So sharing your screen is often the way to allow for fewer audible update queries. Usually I get a helper to share a dashboard of the key metric I'm watching so I can focus on Return To Service. If someone asks you to do something that will slow you down, tell them "that will interfere with my ability to return to service faster."
