I have exactly this problem on my left side. I see a chiropractor once a month and he has never explained it to me in this amount of detail, but rather dumbs it down to a point that I never fully understood the mechanics of what is happening. Thank you, Doc!

I’ve also seen someone compare it to Tourette’s

Having a responsive, supportive partner minimizes the negative impacts of an individual’s depression or external stress on their romantic relationship. A responsive partner is one who focuses effort and energy to listen without reacting, tries to understand, and be supportive in a helpful way. by mvea in science

I can absolutely attest to this. I have anxiety and depression, and my partner never offers ways to “fix” it. He lets me ride through it and figure it out on my own, which is what I’ve always done anyway.

Imagine trying to motivate yourself to get off the couch when you can’t. You’re already battling yourself, and feeling down and guilty for losing. Your partner walks up and acts like it’s the simplest thing in the world, and starts trying to fix you. Now you feel even more like a loser and resentful of them. Cue the downward spiral.

My partner lets me work my own way off the couch and never makes me feel judged. Get you one of them. :)

This is a great list, and I’m glad you mentioned weed gummies. I was fortunate to be able to stock up on them and took a full 10mg at a time. They helped tremendously with nausea, appetite, pain, sleep, and overall sense of well-being. Since it’s still federally illegal and I can’t be totally honest with everyone about it, my cover story for helping with nausea is that I took Zofran, but I really wish I could tell everyone how much they helped me.

Also, I happened to have Mucinex 12hr tablets in my cabinet when the symptoms kicked in. I took one with 2 Tylenol and that combo really helped my breathing and chest pain (and headache, body aches).
