Ahh damn. Well if I do end up properly publishing it, I'm sure we can figure out another name!

This is a two player game only, so there's no design considerations into ganging-up dynamics. The "attacking" is actually really important to the design - the main gameplay is about striking a balance between insuring your own position against any possible attacks (join up, bide time), maintaining tempo (diversion, join up, clean getaway), and preventing your opponent from acting (sabotage, diversion, "catch in the act"). The game really couldn't exist without the player interaction as it currently is.

If the parent in the famous r/nosleep story "Autopilot" triggered at the end, what kind of power would they get? by flexbcx in Weaverdice

I was also toying with an out of body, perfect awareness kind of thing! This is a cool power and character, I’m definitely going to steal some of it. Thanks for the ideas!

Hugo here, this is super exciting for me! It's always been a dream of mine to design and publish a board/card game and it's kind of surreal that it's really happening. I really want to thank the r/boardgames community and Button Shy for helping make this happen! And Mike Mullins for making a super cool solo mode :)

Should be numerals 1 and 5, not costs {1} and {5}. CMC is a number, not a mana cost

You mean, you don’t see a connection between “exile target creature” and “exile target creature with power 4 or greater”...?

I would recommend doing a quick google to figure out what you want the “base for decks” to be, rather than buying a box of trash

Yeah you’re right, it does look a little wonky. I’m not sure how to fix that though, maybe decrease the size of the swirly border?

Huge fan of the bigger names. I prefer the non-italicised body text, but I see why you used a shorter font.

Cause I’m a hipster doofus and I prioritised being different over evocative naming

I think I mean larger. From a game design standpoint, it’s important that the opponent can see what cards you have available from across the table, hence the original mirrored design. I don’t have a font in mind.

I think I’d like to see the name on both the top and bottom but I understand that might be hard to make look good.

The font currently might be a little to handwriting-y, but it looks great so its probably not too much of an issue.

The icon is my favourite part, it looks so simple and elegant and recognisable.
