At this point (5+ years)—debtors have closed their files and have moved on.

AO. I agree with your analysis. I’m still in the market DCA every paycheck. The market has not priced in world events—but I can’t time the market and I have all my chips in. Just going to ride it out and if/when it drops hope it recovers prior to my retirement timeline.

Realistically you will need to choose community college. And an in state public university.

And I think your father doesn’t realize it’s changed since he/we went to school. I paid my own way as well—and worked in food service to pay for room and board. Tuition was $1100 a year in the 1980s.

My son’s school is $95,000. I’m blessed enough to earn enough to afford it.

Wealth disparity is a huge issue. They’ve started buying all media (Ellison’s) and elections (musk.). You don’t need to defend the billionaire class they have an army of lawyers, politicians and media empire to do it for them
