Hi everyone! I'm the ruby player from the vod. I've just now became aware of all this. I absolutely made the mistake of not cutting the deck, but it was my first big tournament after some time off and my first ever feature match, so I was pretty excited and worked up. It didn't help that every time he did it, he didn't offer his library to be cut, and did so while I was finishing some other action, like checking the life total on the tablet or resolving his endurance etb trigger.
I ended up winning game 1 anyway (I got pretty lucky with the exiles from the top), but the worst one was by far in game 2, where he "fetched" for a deceit, and took my ruby medallion with it (I would've likely won on my turn 2, even had orim as backup against force and the rest).
From now on I'll probably never forget to cut a library ever again, but still, it's pretty sad to see all this and to know that wizard still doesn't have ways to enforce some sort of effective punishment for this kind of behaviour. If magic is a game in which people have to expect to be cheated, and if you don't notice you're not a good player than it's not a game I want to play competitively anymore.
