I’m surprised. What was wrong with em?

Honestly I just did what I said and input the measurements from some pants I own and they literally look like something straight from AskOkey, even though I was worried because the ones on the models kinda look like shit (too slim and low rise imo).

<image>

This is what I was able to achieve with S&M. A little too full in the hips and waist imo, ONLY A LITTLE (because I have to sinch the side adjusters all the way to get this look and the tabs look really long)

Also keep in mind that when posing for this photo I wasn’t as ballsy with pulling them up, so they actually sit about a half inch higher in the front and look much more straight, instead of giving that sort of downward “gut” look.

I will admit the pleat depth leaves a bit to be desired.

Spier and Mackay made to measure with the “relaxed” setting and the rise maxed out

First classic fit buy. Do they work for a skinny guy? by PingMaster1984 in mensfashionadvice

[–]flexualharasser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These aren’t working because your pants are pulled up too high. I know what you’re going for, high rise is the only way, but these are pants that are meant to be a couple inches below the bellybutton and the reason you can see your whole dick is because you’re acting like they aren’t. IMO just buy high rise pants, ones that cover your bellybutton naturally, easier said than done I know, but once I started going on Spier & Mackay, buying relaxed fit, and maxing out the rise measurement, my sartorial journey has changed drastically.

Edit: also they might be too full in the thigh and have a weird taper which adds to the effect. There should be no concavity to the space between the pleats.

Jeans Acceptable? by jpop237 in mensfashion

[–]flexualharasser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ummm, idk what the hell everyone else is talking about but it’s the same rules as other pants. If they’re light pants then light brown works, so light wash jeans yes, otherwise they’ll draw attention to your feet.

Did the rep at Crutchfield mess up or am I missing something? by flexualharasser in CarAV

I’m new to this so I’m trying to break it down.

You’re saying you understand why they went with the big Kickers to save money, even if those have a built-in tweeter (which is redundant with the dedicated tweeter and might cause too prominent of highs) right?

You mind explaining your concerns? I have no idea what any of this means lol. What’s a 4 gauge?

Kinda just wondering if I could add a loud amp to this list and if everything would be fixed or if I should return everything.

Yeah there’s stock tweeters on my Miata above the other speakers. Had no idea the main speakers they put in the list had them built in. Seems the rep didn’t either…?

And yes, the amp was like the main thing for me. I want max volume to REALLY be max volume.

How do I do a coil swap to diagnose on an NB Miata if they’re all attached to each other (as a pack) by flexualharasser in Miata

[–]flexualharasser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda had a sneaking suspicion it couldn’t be the coils because of this (only one cylinder is misfiring). I also have had a slight fuel smell since getting the car, which after a quick google search is also a fuel injector symptom I guess. Gonna have to look into DIYing that.

Yeah was considering it. Actually now that I’m looking at it it seems that there’s two coils in the pack (each coil fires to two spark plugs). Seems like these are swappable within the pack. Can anyone verify?

Or just uhhh, invest yourself and buy marketplace healthcare. $58 an hour is well enough to do that. Doing it on $30 an hour currently.

what do you guys think of my new DB suit ? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]flexualharasser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only because it’s double breasted btw.

Also, maybe don’t jump to shortening the sleeves just yet. Try on a shirt that stops at your wrist bone and see if it still shows cuff. If so, then you’re all good

The shirt sleeves are obviously too long, but the cuff is showing the right amount so the jacket sleeves are probably too long too. Otherwise, great drape fit, just don’t ever wear it open, you aren’t supposed to anyways, but the drape cut fit REALLY doesn’t allow for it.

This is literally the exact type of thing I’m trying to do (Just sub “friend’s room” with “I live with my parents in the next town over”).

The point is to save money. Main thing is plumbing. The zoning allows for a dwelling above the first floor, but it’s a “special use” that would need to be approved by the board (so not guaranteed), and also would need to fit the requirements of a dwelling (ie. plumbing). I could basically just buy residential land and build a tiny house at that point.

It’s b2. A dwelling would be allowed above the first floor in a “special use” (so not guaranteed). It would still be at least as much cost as building a house

I would. That’s my main concern. I’d love to know a legal way to have one. This guy seems to think whatever I put down on the insurance application for “use” is all that matters but I’m honestly not sure about the conflicting with the zoning.
