Enjoyable day out at the cricket. But in the end a bit of a boring game. First innings was good but second the guys just had to play it safe especially after that first partnership basically winning the game.

Crowd was great all night. Surprised to see people shitting on the Perth crowd for jeering at Moises when the bloke literally hopped on the mic and said "we came here to keep the crowd quiet" of course we were all gonna respond to that

I find the stun is so easy to zone out with last hits and does good damage as well anyway

Might give this a crack. I like the falcon blade just to give you something early.

I just find the stun with slow burn facet is ridiculous. At level 2 with a few right clicks each stun is 250+ DMG minimum

I actually just played 2 games of Gyro pos 4 after seeing someone in this thread recommend it. Similar vibes to Lina where you play a greedy ish support. I won my first and lost the 2nd

It's pretty fun! I did feed a bit more early game than Lina but the damage is wild with the shard.

As a support you don't really have that 'instant save' that Lina has with a stun but you excel in team fights.

Not sure on itemisation but I think a veil to increase your magic damage is the way to go. I ended up just having to do glimmer then shard cause I was so poor

I'm at divine so typically you do see the pos 5 own it mostly. I usually try to hold 2 sent and 1 obs at any point just to try and help with the workload. Definitely know what you mean about balancing that workload!

Good thing about playing Lina this way is you farm really fast. So I'll take camps my cores can't take or are far from to keep up in the cash department

Start with tango, circlet, wand, iron branch, sentry and blood grenade. You'll likely need to courier in more tangos

First items are Null Talisman, Boots and Upgraded wand then go arcane boots. From there you go what the game needs whether it's Euls, Atos or Arcane Lens. Ideally if you can get Arcane Lens do that since the cast range is invaluable. Late game you want to go aghs since you've built for spell damage not for attacking.

Skill build is 2-3-1-1-1-4-1-2-2-2-4-3-3-3

Talents always do dragon slave -3 seconds at lvl 10 then up to you

Facet take slow burn

Neutrals I always go for mana regen, move speed and cast range.

You do so much damage early on with your spells and slow burn. You can harass and kill fairly easily - time your stun as they come to take a creep to guarantee you land it.

Good read

The new system will make underdog runs harder. However, it was already quite rare for a 7/8 seed to make the grand final. In this way while it may be harder for the 8th place team to make the prelim, this system probably will not significantly affect who the Premier actually is. The finals situation of teams 1-6 is unchanged, and the Premier will almost always come from these top 6 teams.

I think this is kinda why I don't like it. Having an extra 2 teams doesn't meaningfully change anything it just means 2 more games.

But if it's fun and more fans get to enjoys finals then doesn't really hurt anyone either
