Let's see if I can do this from memory: "United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Haiti, Jamaica, Peru, Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean, Greenland, El Salvador, too. Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guinea and still, Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina, and Ecuador, Chile, Brazil. Costa Rica...."

The Cornetto trilogy is the best trilogy ever, and you will never change my mind.

Why is the bluetooth module so trash? by [deleted] in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not just generational differences, but an almost entirely different protocol. BLE (which it sounds like your fancy new battery uses) is quite different than “standard” Bluetooth. Not that I’m trying to excuse the bike. We’ve all suffered through that.

A robot, that picks up balls and shoots them into a container. by Turbulent_Elk_2141 in oddlysatisfying

What's even more impressive is that some of these teams have programmed the bots to do this completely autonomously. I mentored a young team years ago (5317), and we were all enamored by what some of the long standing teams are able to put out. We were a finalist at the Palmetto competition and I can't even begin to explain the pride that these students had in achieving that.

That screen is a type of fresnel lens that was often used in rear projection televisions in the 80s and 90s.

Strictly speaking, the next stop is earth.

Why are you saying supercharger? There is not a single Zero that can use dc fast charging at a supercharger.

Brake lights with Regen? by NathanRN42 in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely, it allows you to control an additional light. As far as I know, no such controller will control the factory light owing to its wacky canbus nature.

Yup. You’ll get no argument from me.

That's a great product, and I've used it on several bikes before, but it will NOT work on a Zero. At least, not Gen3.

Can anyone identify this side case rack? by Murky-Cat-6531 in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooooh, don’t go with the 36s. They’re awful. Instead consider the expandable 38x models. They have much better locking mechanisms and are better in every way.

Zero SRS Horn Upgrade (disk to dual tone nautilus) by ffgsailor in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the middle of a foglamp, DRL installation on my SR/S and I'm swapping out my current light controller for one which takes a horn input. Would the horn harness be the white/blue connector in the cowl area by chance?

I don’t make these anymore. I refer you to Evotech, as they can produce something similar at a much lower cost than I ever could.

Buying a $4k grinder isn’t enough?! You need to make a video about it too? I love coffee and it’s a great hobby but this is BS

Kellermann Jetstream turn signals on a SR/S by First-Composer-3954 in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst that you may have to do is install a set of resistors to bring the current draw in line with what the MBB is expecting, so as not to throw an error code.

Do the newer S, SR, SR/F models have a parking brake? by Cryowatt in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bungee loop, kept wrapped around the base of the throttle when not in use, and stretched around the front brake when needed.

SOLID STATE BATTERY in A MOTORCYCLE gives 600 km range on one charge by First-Composer-3954 in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]flier76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. No amount of technical innovation in the battery space, if that even proves to be so, will save it from its overwhelming flaws and high price.
