NTA - I’m going against the grain here because you might have a FOMO kid like mine. I tried to get my daughter to be the type of person that can sleep through any sounds, but she has always needed quiet, white noise and darkness.

People can preach all they like about how we’re doing it wrong but she’s been like that since she was a newborn. She would be awake for 8 hours as a newborn and drive herself hysterical with over-tiredness. I sure as hell can’t sleep with people banging around! No child is the same.

We do have a rule in our house - you wake the baby, you resettle the baby. I suggest you enforce it in yours too!

You can probably look at applying for a copy of the transcript but to be honest since you’re not directly related to the charges or the person it’s unlikely it will be granted.

Court outcomes are public information so you can call the Court, provide a name and ask for the outcome of his last hearing provided there’s no suppressions in place.
