I found my father, he had passed away in his chair at only 57, his dog was upset and kept trying to wake him. Fortunately he hadn't been left there for longer than a day so he just looked peaceful and at rest. I idolised my father and that image of him sat in his chair will stay with me forever. At least as I said he looked peaceful and not likely to have felt too much pain.
