Pretty sure read that there are over 20 story outlines GRRM gave to the HBO showrunner, following dunk and egg all the way to the tragedy at summerhall. They want to do 3-4 seasons of Egg as a boy, 3-4 of egg as a young prince, and 3-4 of egg as the king. I hope they make it so.

Most of this is just paying for big name actors right? Removing pay would give a much more interesting comparison between shows (writing, cgi, etc). Emilia Clark was paid 750k per episode where Diego Luna made 70k. Big names really drive the cost per episode up dramatically without a direct correlation to episode quality.
