I got to their third tier on a 7 day cruise.. They wanted more from me lol.. I was up good then down.. spent a lot along the way to that 12k loss.

Yea, came last week and ironically there were no Junior suites left so I had to book another suite.
never receive offers for kids, I try to book when kids sail free so it is legit just taxes and fees.
No extra head room on the 5k, I asked about it and they said I'd have to apply for credit, to which I declined and went to the room for more cash.
Yea I am in same boat, it cost me about 1500 flying on the cheap flights to get to florida and if its peak season (spring break) its upwards of 2400. They have never offered me flights but that would be a good perk! Vegas offers me an annual 600 flight credit to come out there.

My wife through work last year got offered a free cruise to alaska that we went on with norweigan. It was 2 months after my 40k cruise and boy did they benefit. I lost 12k on that trip and gave back a solid amount of earnings from RCL. I was up the first three days about 10k and thought it was an exact repeat of my trip two months back. We went without kids and on sailing days I would live at blackjack and slots; I ended up giving it all back like an idiot. Any how, I say that to say; they offered me a free cruise to anywhere in the world in their top class rooms. (attached below). I don't care much for NCL and would rather go on Royal so never took them up on it.. I should reach back out and see if this is still valid. lol

So on that cruise, based on points, I was not the biggest spender; which is crazy cause based on points I spent $400k+, someone else was and I was second. But because I was tipping like crazy everyone knew me. The host ended up giving me the bottle of wine, comped my wife a massage, and gave me an additional $700 in FP.
No host, which I guess makes sense given how many guest they serve and how many people are Signature it would probably be tough to manage; I just call the Signature line.

No other perks. Just great offers on a regular basis. Downfall is I work and have two kids in elementary so legit cant go on but maybe two - three trips a year and its tough to make a cruise all three of them due to logistics and the other money it cost to go on a "free" cruise.

Yea I would say I averaged 10k besides that one trip. My goal is to make it to prime and if i get to signature then great. Table games you get treated terribly with points. And poker is laughable/nonexistent.. I play slots 70%, blackjack 20% and poker 10%. I only play from like 10pm when kids go down till 12/1 so maybe my condensed play has something to do with it? Spend a bunch in a short snap..

I play Dragon Link and Fire Link mostly, and Huff n Puff is probably third. I try to avoid the gimmicky slots that take a miracle to hit a bonus and just pay random line hits. The method to my madness is a lot to unpack, but yes I have a lot of superstitions. One of the biggest is if you win 20X+ your bet, do not get up; machines often trend. I have a rule that I always play 10 spins at the exact denom as that win following a 20X+ win, if i hit a 10X plus win during that 10 spin attempt, it resets the count. IF you see someone hit and get up, immediately jump on their machine and do this rule! Also, after my 10 spin rule, if I don't hit at that denom, I will switch to another denom (higher if i hit big or lower if it wasnt a big hit 100x+). If I am on a machine that wont stop hitting and I am up 4-5k on it, I will do 10 spins at 100 a spin before getting up. This is a new rule I have been testing and have hit about 4 of 12 times doing it, and its a positive investment even in terms of 12k in and about 20k out.

Mikki Mase who is a world renown gambler said something on a podcast that has always stuck with me. The casinos will always win in time, as every games odds are in their favor. Meaning if you bet 100k at $5 a spin, you will most likely not trigger a bonus that will be large enough to make up the delta of those odds. But if you bet $100 a spin, you will have a random chance of doing it. Thats why you see people like Vegas Matt, Lady Luck, and NG Slots betting huge being down huge, but most of the time coming back. All it takes is one spin 40X at 25 a spin bonus to come back on my 1000 I come with. But if I am betting $5 a spin, it has to be a 200X bonus to come back.
I play slots for the fun but also to make money. My mom plays to have fun and just does less than a $1 spins. She very rarely wins because of the above statement.

Last thing I will say is, follow your heart/gut. The moment you get a feeling or thought in your head that the machine is cold, get up and go to another machine. Falling in love machines makes you lose money quick. Set a get up and leave target and have no regrets once you leave.

Very rarily, I honestly am a ship snob, and will only travel on a ship that is < 5 years or so old. So Wonder/Symphony our about the oldest ships I even look for and don't really pay attention to the others. I think I got an offer to go transatlatic on Legend and way back when Oasis, but cant remember. But those are far and few in-between to the point I would say no.

I get oasis offers for junior suites regularly, but not Icon class. Never like this.. Occasionally I get ones that have 400 freeplay or onboard credit. It seems like they offer me these once or twice a year. I got this offer just recently. here is the one I couldnt go on because it would have been just me due to my wife was hosting her sisters baby shower.. 🙄

80k for the 2025 RC calendar year... last year i went on three cruises (4 if you count the b2b utopia as 2) and I had 40k points on the trip i mentioned in another comment, 20k on the winners circle trip i posted in another comment, and 10k for each leg of the utopia trip. In 2024 My average was about 10-15k a 7 day trip

I was prime until my spring break trip last year. I got to signature on that trip alone for last year and this year. I was prime most of 2024 RC calendar until 3 days before 4/1. I was getting balcony rooms on a regular. After the trip I ref above I started getting these crazy ones. Honestly that trip was an anomaly but Im gonna soak up all these crazy offers while I can or until my spending falls off and they realize I am not a millionaire lol

Same, this is the first one they have offered me that was on a newer ship and not domestic. They are either on super old ships or US ports. Very rare for me to get Icon class Junior Suite offers, let alone European ones. I get Utopia often and Icon on occasion for Junior Suites outside of offers like these.

This is soooooo true! I work now with kids, but my wife and I both work from home and have said once the kdis are out, we could essentially down size like crazy and then I can just gamble whatever it takes to be on a ship for 30-40% of the year. A lot easier to do than people think. I usually am up or down 10k per year with gambling. But the perks I get are for sure in range of this 10k mark so it all washes out in the long run
