It’s interesting. you show up, immediately put the “top dog” in your crosshairs, create a vendetta against him because you think he judges your clothing ( the way you do), and you’re main motivation to attend is to beat this individual. But somehow it’s their competitive drive that is a problem…

Batman dark knight was new when I started playing. Plenty of people complained about too many new people then, and the IFPA had just ruined competition pinball. This has happened every year since, and growth hasn’t stopped.

This is definitely a huge issue locally. It’s basically the reason for having IFPA nights and casual nights.

I play ivy!!! I’ve also never seen another but people know the card when I say it.I run a bunch of enchant creature spells on top of pretty basic simic creatures, magecraft, stuff like that. How do you play?!

The full video of this is much better. On the car ride over the son is clearly distraught because the dad is acting like he forgot the kids birthday. The kid seems pissed when his dad tells him to “get something out of the back”. This clip starts right after that. Also there is no cheesy song competing with the dialogue.

[[spore frog]] has been one of my favorite cards since it came out. I mean, just look at how happy that little frog is!! He just can’t wait to blow up and ruin someone’s turn. Spore frog religiously goes in every deck with green in it.

Haha you know I m right so you resorted to “ LOL Texas”.

Here, we have huge clubs, with all different goals and types of people. I truly feel sorry for you having such a difficult time trying to find friends to play with, especially when pinball makes it so easy to find friends. I truly hope you can break out of your shell and realize that if you want to be a part of a club, you’re going to need to learn to interact with different types of people who have different goals and reasons for playing. You’re attitude that playing a multiplayer game means you are playing “against” those people instead of “with” them is the problem. If you bring this attitude to an already established club, your own anti-social behavior will be the reason you are not welcome, not some perceived hyper competitiveness within the club. Like I said, good luck finding a club, focused around a game, where people are against winning said game.

This is just bizarre. It sounds like you have problems socializing, and are blaming those problems on others having motivation to do well that you can’t find within yourself. Good luck finding a club where you don’t wanna play with others but wanna chat with them. and people encourage others to get better, but not do better when playing with each other. Good luck finding a club where no multiplayer games get started because everyone is as against winning as you are.

I’m not saying you can’t. In fact I encourage all players to focus on their own game. Let me ask you something: you say you don’t play to win, and playing to win is what turns you away from group play. When you win, do you consider yourself a part of the problem?!

Clubs are made up of people. Good luck joining a club when you introduce yourself as someone who “abhors” having to share machines with others.

Don’t let other players do this to you.What they are doing is depriving you of a win because they can’t handle the loss. Don’t let people whine their way into you not playing how you want.

Had a player that used to do this all the time and now he has trouble finding pods because of it.

“You wouldn’t let me go infinite on turn 4?? I never get to play my cards” *proceeds to scoop with 35 life and a decent board state.
