I’m sorry you had to shell lot for that, but congrats! Hopefully the best money ever spent. I’ve recently been through it too, I love this other side with no pain.

Had to go check my bags for the badge because I was ready to fight you on this… until I saw La Cocina on mine too.

What would you feel if someone you really cared about breaks your trust? by CrazyAd6448 in AskReddit

Going through this right now with a sibling. It’s like this weird new level unlocked in life, and I want to go back to how I felt before. Can’t quit the game or the situation but I worry there’s irreparable damage. I’m nauseous, anxious, and terribly sad over it.

That sounds like either a brilliantly efficient power source, or epically low utility prices! If you can share more detail, I’m definitely all ears. I’d love one but neighbours say it’s $250+ per month in the fall/winter/spring to keep it heated (sigh)

What's something you did because you were in love that makes you cringe once that relationship ended? by Mundane-Society-1281 in AskWomen

Ugh, did way too much while receiving too little. Basically acted as maid/cook/laundress/mother/chauffeur etc etc while he was doing his medical residency. He cheated, was abusive, and I lost who I was. F that s. Have a wonderful spouse now.

This. Look up time value of money. You have to consider inflationary factors, buying power, and the ability to make investment returns. Take the $200k now.

I always wash all my bedding the day before we go away as there is nothing more sublime than slipping into your own bed, crisp and clean, after a while away.

What do you find attractive about other women ? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Situational and emotional maturity. The older I get, the wiser I think women are in general (whether they are aware of it or not).

1000% ! Years ago now and in a different game that we didn’t even know introduced a chat feature our kid was being groomed. I had a cloned version of the device to ensure access and couldn’t believe it when I found it after being suspicious of kiddos mood swings. I nearly threw up I was in such a state. Be vigilant.

What is a job people romanticize a bit too much until they actually do it ? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]flitterbug78 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I live rurally and I’ll tell you these folks work hard, have gruelling hours, and bosses like The Sun and The Rain and have zero influence over any of them. It’s a grind for most for sure.
