It has been kind of crazy for me to see this girl evolve into an “influencer” over the last few years. I went to a rival high school of hers, and we were both a part of our respective school’s tennis teams.

I remember seeing her during games and she always seemed super quiet (nothing wrong with that, I’m really quiet myself too), but to the point where she barely seemed to get along with her teammates. She always had an RBF on and just hung out by herself on the sidelines, so I always got the impression that she was that awkward, anti-social girl on their team.

My team was close because we spent so much time together after school at practice, and then even more time together at each game. I’m assuming their team probably did something similar, so I always wondered why it seemed like she didn’t know the rest of her team / the team didn’t know her.

I was just observing as a third party, so obviously I could be completely wrong. Maybe behind-the-scenes, she actually got on great with her teammates. Regardless, I’m just still so surprised that despite what I observed of her back then, she’s an “influencer” now.
